Review of Charger Xtar WP6 II
Review of Charger SysMax/NiteCore i4 V2
Both are going to be relatively slow. xbassman is correct in that the Xtar has 3 channels @ 600mA and the NiteCore has 2 @ 750mA. The way that they handle 2 batteries in one channel is different, but it will significantly...
I get where you're trying to go with this, but I think it came out all wrong.
Watt's Law is not a theory...that's why it's a law. ;) 1 watt is always going to be 1 amp at 1 volt, no matter if you are trying to heat 1 ounce or 1 pound.
What you are talking about is thermal inertia; the...
Power is not an element of Ohm's Law: Voltage, Current, Resistance.
Watt's Law utilizes elements of Ohm's Law to calculate power; W=V•A
Watt's Law is often lumped into Ohm's Law because if thier close relationship, but they serve two very distinct purposes.
^^This.
For the most part, the surface area and size of the body will negate most of the poor conductivity. "The river is wide enough for ample current to flow". Most of the "problem" is the small surface area pathways in the battery, switch, and atty contacts; the narrow part of the stream.
The PWM is a 6v/0v on/off cycle. When you get into high power with a single batt, it struggles to make the 6v in the boost stage; so peak output suffers.
There is no mAh advantage to stacking battries, but the is a Wh (Watt hour) advantage. At the same power output, battery drain current in...
Comparing voltages at the atty posts between different mods and attys is pointless. Where is the voltage drop; atty or mod? Measuring inline between atty and mod is second best because the drop will vary by battery, but it much more convienient than the best option.
Ideally you should take 2...
With a mechanical mod the mAh is about the last thing that I look at. You will never use the full capacity because the vape will be so anemic you won't want to vape them past about half charge. Any good 18650 IMR will last the average person at least most of the day; even the "measly" 1500 &...
I take out the screw post that is next to the fill screw. Still works with eHuman's filling method and I haven't had any leaking problems. No need to fiddle with tool just to fill the tank.
AW IMR 18350 is rated for 6 amp discharge. Keep your coils over .7Ω and you'll be good.
Xtar WPII is a great charger. You will need 2 spacers per battery for 18350s.
I havent seen the rated discharge current for Efest 18350s, but I know that the AW 18350 is a better performer. So...
I never really checked it in stock form, but with some light sanding on the contacts to expose the brass(?) my drop is 0.13V.
CGR18650CH @ 4.15V
1.1Ω coil on AGA-T+
4.02V measured inline between mod and atty.
ETA: One thing to note for those that are measuring without an inline adapter (ie...
The values for the equation are in the document, the equation is not.
Thermal Inertia Primer
Thermal inertia is synonymous with thermal effusivity.
