120v Line voltage VV battery-less passthrough..... build?

Pre-built and ready to vape....none that I have seen. If you are capable of building your own, there are many options available. Most popular choice is probably the LM2596 DC-DC Regulator. Link in my sig for the PT that I built for on the road vaping. For the house you could use a 12v/2a...

Has anyone tried the AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank

I like mine at 3/64". Not tight, not loose. I drilled one of my phoenix clones to 1/16" and it was too airy for me. Best that I can describe 3/64" is that it is very close to the same draw as my Marlboro's of the past.

    18mm diameter mechanical mod?

Probably zero 18mm OD mech mods considering that an 18xxx battery is a hair larger than 18mm.

why is there a rubber piece inside my mini vivi nova drip tip?

AFAIK, the design hasnt changed. The resistance wire is still run the whole length, but some heads will burn the rubber, some wont...:?:

why is there a rubber piece inside my mini vivi nova drip tip?

The heating wire runs down to the bottom of the head and gets sandwiched between the rubber and post/pin. The legs of the coil are the hottest part of the wire because it isnt getting direct airflow and doesnt have the juice and wick to shed the heat away. The heat is absorbed by the rubber...

    PWM, RMS, AVG, etc.

Off the top of my head, mostly Modder's mods that use quality regulators like the OKR-T/6, PTR8100W, or PTN04050. The Lavatube v1.0 uses a filter, but it is horrible at maintaining the set voltage. TBH, since China started calibrating for VRMS, there isn't much difference when you're talking...

why is there a rubber piece inside my mini vivi nova drip tip?

When you are ready to retire that head, take the center pin out of the bottom of the head and then remove the rubber grommet. Chances are it's burnt when the wire contacts the rubber.

Voltage not high enough? Lower the resistance....it's all watts in the end.

    PWM, RMS, AVG, etc.

The Provari does not us a "patented RMS chipset". It uses an LC filter (Inductor+Capacitor) to take the on/off pulse train of the voltage converter and smooth it out to a flat DC voltage. It's really nothing special, the technology has been in use for decades. They just put it to use in an...

Has anyone tried the AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank

7/64" does not fit in mine......yet...:D The hole is real close to 2.6mm. 3/32" (2.4mm) is a bit loose, 7/64" (2.8mm) is too big.

    The Bolt

Go to Home Depot or Lowes and find a sales associate in the electrical section. Tell him you need 22/4 security cable. They sell it by the foot. 22/4 means that there are 4 strands of 22g wire inside of the outer jacket. Strip the outer jacket away and you usually get Red, Black, White, and...

Has anyone tried the AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank

Vaping one right now. Opened the air hole to 3/64", removed the silica wick post (new fill hole), and started vaping. Only complaint so far is that the center post can turn on you when you are screwing the atty onto your APV. This can pull or push your wraps depending on how you wrap the wire...

why is there a rubber piece inside my mini vivi nova drip tip?

The taste is probably due to the rubber grommet at the bottom of the head's center pin. It is fairly common for them to burn in stock form. Long thread, but worth the read. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/295410-vivi-nova-rebuild-tutorial.html

why is there a rubber piece inside my mini vivi nova drip tip?

It doesnt affect the draw. The draw is tight because of the center pin in the head. The rubber/silicone piece is there to prevent juice from pooling inside the groove that is in the top cap. If you push the small tube down after you put the drip tip in, it will mate up directly to the metal...

    Leaky Battery Disposal

The electrolyte is a salt (chemically neutral) solution so reactivity with other contaminants is negligible. For the base metals, I may have been a little misleading above when I said they do not contain any lithium metal content. More accurately, they do not contain any pure lithium metal...

    Leaky Battery Disposal

Rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries do not contain any lithium metal content. They are safe to throw in the trash and are not an environmental hazard. The primary goal of Lithium-Ion recycling is to reclaim the base metals to be sold and reused as recycled content just as any other metal...
