    recommend me a multimeter

Cheap multimeters are nearly useless for RBA's. The tolerance/error of the multimeter can easily be more than the resistance being measured. If resistance is all that you are worried about, I'd go with this... Cartomizer and Atomizer Ohm Meter For a full function Multimeter on a...

    Battery help

Low resistance does not drain a battery quicker on a VV/VW device. Simplified version: Power (watts) used by the atomizer must equal power supplied by the battery. Battery Life - Low Resistance, High Resistance, and Efficiency. Dual coils dont make any difference either. The total resistance...

    Battery help

Without getting too technical, it's because the protection circuit on the battery is being tripped due to high current pulses. ie: The VAMO is drawing too much current from the battery. It's not an interference or compatibility thing, just too much current.

    Battery help

That voltage is fine. The key is doing what works for you. Charge when it's convenient, instead of trying to get an extra :2c: return on investment from a $9 battery. The VAMO's low voltage cutoff (3.2V) wont let the voltage drop to the danger zone (2.5V)(cue: Top Gun theme song)

Aw ic battery still safe with some shrink wrap missing

The wrapper can be replaced. Just exersize extreme caution and do not attempt if you are not 100% confident in your abilities. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/331495-how-remove-button-top-replace-battery-wrapper-jacket-pic-heavy.html It probably isn't cost effective for...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

Might need to take a look at your atty too. My AGA-T2 is collecting dust because it was the source of much of the loss I was experiencing. The IGO-L (that I prefer over genny's anyway) does much better with the voltage drop.

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I use Panasonic CGR's, AW's are just a hair shorter. I'm not a big fan of magnets in mech mods, there is the possibility for them to move around in a bad way. If you can't get what you need, or don't have the means to get the nuts n' bolt to work, shoot me a PM. I might have turned an extra...

    Need a Battery Vet. HELP

Cant answer the 1/3rd charge question. Could be a number of things, only half of which are bad. I would put them in adjacent bays and let them go a few more hours or until full, whichever comes first.

mechanical mods finding one that perfect for yourself

^^^This Minor sanding and a small modification to get rid of the spring and it can hang with the best of them. Moderate modifications and it puts many of them to shame.

    Need a Battery Vet. HELP

If they aren't warm (ie: hotter than comfortably warm hand washing water) then you will be fine to put them in the VAMO to check the voltage. The I4 is a pretty slow charger, even slower if the batteries have an empty slot between them. The fastest way to charge 2 batteries in the I4 is to put...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

The spring IS that crappy. You can do a quick fix to get rid of it until a more permanent mod can be done... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/apv-discussion/399678-sigelei-mechnical-mods-2.html#post9163207 A short time after than post I used a white silicon plug from a cartomizer to...

In need of large recharging capacity

Assuming that 1000mAh batts = eGo style with a USB charger.... 12v Battery to Cig adapter: Cig to USB adapter. Problem Solved. Amazon, eBay, or Walmart will get you set up. An inverter would be a huge waste of money for this purpose.

The inserts are threaded into the caps; unscrew, dont pull. For the firing button, hold the inside part of the pin and unscrew the button. You many need to heat it up a little to break the bond of the thread locker. A BiC will do the trick. Best thing I did to my 8's was scrap the spring and...

Huge voltage drop on the EA mod

His test method is not the most accurate method and the test rig induces more loss than the mod, but it should be consistent across the board. To cleanliness: It HAS to be the user/testers responsibility to ensure the contacts are clean. Oxidation happens over time. Certain metals oxidize...

    too low ohms?

It's not a safety issue for the Bolt. Low resistance is no more safe in a mech mod than it is in a Bolt or similar mod. The Bolt will just quite working when the wires or switch die.

Huge voltage drop on the EA mod

It's good to know what is going on at all the places that matter. I've recommended using an inline meter AND a multimeter at the atty posts (for RBA's). That way you can know what your total voltage drop is and the actual power that you are using at the coil. A total voltage drop (at the...

    too low ohms?

The Efest 18490/18500 IMR's are good down to .6Ω, the Bolt on the other hand...wont fare too well at those amps.
