    actually no need for pics, which direction does the lock ring spin? clockwise to lock is v1, v2 is counterclockwise, 2.1 has the new switch with no lockring I believe.

    how are you making your wick and coil? check the reference sheet in my sig it has some good build advise in it. I use a twisted 32 3/4 with a jack frost and a petar k build on #400 mesh I rarely get the top hotspot doing this.
