Blue vs. Red LED
I've always wanted one with the blue LCD.. Is there an option to specify color, or do you literally just need to wait until they update their product page with a new item that has the blue LCD in the description? -
How much battery life do you get from your provari?
Usually 3/4 of a day, then I do the ol' charger swap. I'm using the 18490's and probably avg 20-30 hits an hour, more if I'm having coffee.. ;) -
Provari through airport security

^ that's true, but once you get DC cartos at 2.5 ohms or higher, you can always hit 6V, though I usually run my under 5.5V for taste.. I can run 2 ohm cartos at ~5V-5.2V at the top end before I get E2. 1.5 ohm cartos E2 at around 4V, depending on the actual carto. -

Probably already answered somewhere, but what does a Provari do that a LavaTube doesn't?
Yep, I've run my 2.5 DC @ 6V, and I have a few 2 ohms that test out at ~2.1 that run at ~5.2V as well (on the Provari). So yes, I would add 'run a DC carto @ 6V' as something Provari can do that LT can not. That, and the Provari will still be working in a year.. ;) -
Finally ordered!
Just got mine on Friday, this thing is great.. It's been a long road, I went through the crappy, uqbiquitous cig-style 510 kit, moved on to K-GO 1100mah batteries +cartos, stepped up to a 6V Indulgence, and now the Provari + DC tanks (2.5). Finally, I'm happy. Loooove the Provari! We'll see if... -

When did you order? I ordered Tuesday night, and it's already shipped.. I just did the Satin Silver non-kit though.. David mentioned something about clear drip tips and 18650 batts being out of stock (at least when I spoke with him on Tuesday). -

Well, provari wants $198.90 for the Satin + 2 18490 + charger. I got the provari for the $159.95 + 2 18490 + charger for $30 shipped.. When I said ~$20 I was looking at the full starter kit, so I guess I only saved $9 in that sense. Anyway, batts + charger were from rtdvapor.com. AW IMR... -
