Not at all, ElConquistador lol. Thanks for the input though. Yes, half the length would read (and be) half the resistance. I really don't know how this got to be so complicated. The answer I'm looking for is very simple. I give up, thanks for the help though.- buce15

Even if the leg is long enough to touch the base of the pin? Assuming all connections are rock solid, that's about 3mm of wire that's touching the positive pin. Got it. I know all meters are different, I believe it's the internal resistance and/or chip inside the meter. But would a meter read that last diagram I made differently if there was no wire between A and B. Or would it read exactly the same?- buce15

Does a meter read from the point of the wire where it first touches the positive pin, or 2-3mm down where the positive LEG is cut off and physically ends. Lol we're getting there - the red line is Kanthal. The Black lines are connected to probes. I'm talking about multiple points of contact on a connection. A and B aren't really the same point. I must not be explaining this properly. Put the probes at the bottom of the + and the bottom of the -. A, B and C are just connection points.- buce15

Yes the black lines would be directly connected to the meter. Referring to resistance readings, not necessarily electron flow or current flow, but I'm sure those are directly related. What's the most accurate ohm meter on the market?
Experienced coil builder looking for the most ACCURATE ohm meter out there. Something with a 510 connection.
