I got my spacers last week and have one in my MVP and one in my VV3. No more pin issues and they are so cheap. I agree with a sticky for this and the Di-Noc as well. -

Herb, I have only been vaping full time since 1/22 so I am still fairly new to this stuff as well. My goal is the same as yours, get the best flavor from a superior device. THere are a lot of different brands and types of rebuildables. Like Garemlin said, drippers or RDA's are for a small amount... -

I fell in Love with my VV3, finally. When in doubt? Wrap it! My "River Rock" Di-Noc Freebie, heat shrunk wrap with my ( tank cracker juice ) all steel KFL with a Patriot drip tip. MVP is charging. Not a bad back up....Thanx to Cathy for the template. Note: Not the best Razor job on the... -

Welcome. Your son is correct. You either adjust Wattage or Volts. If you adjust wattage, it automatically sets the volts according to the resistance of your coil. Good luck and happy vaping :vapor: -

I think that is what happened with my Patriot dbl coil attempt, I had the wrong wire AND a short as only 1 coil worked on one of the builds. No worries, I only wasted about 27 cents worth of Kanthal ;) -

Great build MBP! If I have 1 qualm with the Kayfun it is those darn little screws for the coil. I wish they had some sort of "Grabby" part on the bottom so the coil would not slip the first 11 TIMES you try to get it screwed down. The fact that my coil has lasted 2 weeks and still going strong... -

I got my Kayfun from ebay, even though 90% of my stuff is from Fasttech. My Kayfun must have been thoroughly cleaned before it shipped because I had no machine oil issues after washing it once when I got it. I used watts for the 1st week with my MVP, and since I have used volts almost... -

Thanx for the site reference. I have a kayfun lite, no airflow control, but it hits great for my liking. I bought 28 gauge kanthal A1 and wrapped 8 or 9 and got a 1.3ohm coil. Heated and pressed together with a pair of pliers so it glows from the middle outward ( what the guy in the video told... -

What you DON'T want to do, is what I did. Got a Patriot RDA from Fasttech, but still only have 28 gauge Kanthal and I was having to wrap a zillion times. I am ordering some 30 and 32 gauge for the dbl coil builds for that. the 28 will be for my single coil Kayfun builds. today marks 2 weeks... -
