how long do ego batts last
I have a new eGo Mega XL rated @ 1000mah. I got it specifically so it would last me all day. So far I am averaging 24 to 30 hours between charges. Yes Sir! USB is 5 volts! The Red and Black conductors are the power leads. The Green and White ones are for data. I read somewhere, probably in this forum, that you may need to short the green and white together in order to tell your PC that you're using the port strictly for power. Otherwise...- BenJammin

I know it's an old thread, but others may still find it useful. I highly recommend Drozd's method with sanding sponges.
