    One nice thing about that smoktech RDA is that it's aluminum. I pounded a thumb tack through it while at work today. So now when the two original holes are alighned there is a third hole that is also blowing directly on the coil from the side. It is very airy now but not too much. Almost too...

    LOVE it! thanks man, I think another whole will help. I will start out with a very small one and work up till it's good. Besides, it was less than ten bucks and it's served its purpose and I have that IGO W coming so I can afford to do some experimenting.

    I bet I could add another hole to the aluminum sleeve that would bring the air in directly beside the coil. It shouldn't be too difficult. I don't think I would ruin it if I tried:blink: lol why not? I'm gonna see what happens.

    The air hole on mine actually is not flush like this one here. Mine has like a mettle sleeve so it comes up just a bit from the base. That's is what mine looks like.

    HazMatt, how did you increase the size of the air hole. I wobbled a paperclip in the hole of the aluminum sleeve and it's counter hole and it did increase the diameter but how to increase the hole diameter of the hole under the coil alludes me.

    So I pushed the coil down to were it is just barely above the air hole and it did help. But still lacking in flavor. I've tried several different wicks also. Maybe it's just as simple as going with a different coil. But I tried that too. Even going back to a 2.1 and it still burns the liquid...

    I have this one SMOKTech RDA Rebuildable Atomizer It's what seemed like the best choice for a beginner. It has a tight draw much like the iclear16. It's a cheapy and a pretty poor design so I can't really make the airflow any better because there is really no way to enlarge the airflow holes...
