Welcome aboard Drisc92!
The hardest part of building is getting the wicking right. That can take some trial and error.
In the end though, if the vape tastes good to you, then you've done it right.
It takes a lot of money to feed a growing mega-bureaucarcy, and calling ecigs a 'tobacco product' makes it that much easier for the government to get their hands into our pockets. Vapers are a relatively small group that gets filed under the category of 'involuntary donors'.
There you go OneBadWolf, You have your 5 posts!
One last little hoop though. You'll have to wait about 15 minutes for the server to catch up. Then you'll be free to roam.
Sounds like the wick has been scorched/burned. Even a little bit of that will make everything taste nasty until it's changed.
Rewick the atty and and start low with the wattage. Move the wattage up until you're happy with the vape, and don't go any higher.
Welcome to ECF BTW!
"Hey, we went to all the trouble to build it. And now you want us to tell you how it works? That seems unreasonable." o_O
Maybe the translator was on vacation?
Anyone who is unhappy with the petition is free to ignore it, and free to then write one of their own.
The only thing that 'needs to be changed' is the government's position on vaping.
I really like that they're probably not getting the responses they may have been hoping/wishing for.
The way these folks (the alphabet soup bowl) think is wrong. I'm not sure how to change their thinking, but I have a sense they'll regret it when it all shakes out.
Andria, in many ways this...
The problem here is that the ACS (and ALA, CDC, NIH, WHO...), at an institutional level, considers vaping to be the same thing as smoking. In their world, none of us have actually 'quit' smoking so long as we continue to vape. o_O
We know the difference quite well, but they don't get it at all...
The higher-ups at wiki-world have decided that their misinformation on this issue is what's best for all to see. Really makes you wonder about the rest of wiki, doesn't it?
Retired1 posted a link earlier in this thread to the previous (and on-going) wiki-battle regarding this issue. Read through that link to get an idea of what you'll be up against. And Jman8 has already told you here what the fight is like. It's not pretty.
I won't discourage anyone who wants to...
I'd want to know exactly who I was fighting against before I ever volunteered. Many have tried, and many have died. So to speak.
For whatever reason, wiki is never going to change their position on this matter until they're told to.
Find out who's behind that curtain and I might give it a shot.
