    The 'carrion crow' phrase comes from Chris Whitley's song "Dust Radio". It's worth the google. I didn't know him well, but the guy could definitely sing and play. The phrase seemed apt. ETA: I didn't completely dislike his worldview either. )

    The fact is, they want vaping gone entirely. It doesn't fit into their worldview. Nothing is a small concession. Carrion crow nibbling at the edges until the whole organism succumbs and they can feast.

    My neighbor's 5yo kid is fascinated by, (and attracted to) chainsaws and other power tools. Shiny, bright colors, cool noises, etc. The working solution to any potential problem in this case is close adult supervision of the little guy, not taking my tools away from me...

    Am I the only one?

    I like to tinker, so I have a few vape toys that allow me to do that. The workhorse that is always within arm's reach, however, is my Provari/Nautilus combo because it's rugged and absolutely dependable. I have enough other stuff to worry about during my work day.

    It's a contentious issue primarily because the government would like to treat everyone like they're children who don't know any better. A lot of folks are tired of that government attitude, in general, and see this as an opportunity to push back.
