    just use a bic lighter...but be careful with it. stove burner on high works too, although you have to get kinda close, so unless you cook for a living and have lost most of the sensation in your hands, it might get a tad hot for ya.

    i've got a 501, a 501 mega, both manuals, and a pair of SmokeStiks which are auto...both have their ups and downs. the autos are nice when my hands are too busy to press a button, but to be quite honest, i haven't noticed a profound difference in flavor/vapor....except with my 901s. them...
