    IF you give it a try it's important to note the AFC slots are offset to one side so build the coils in a V config to line up with the air holes depicted in black

    Welcome and congrats on the new Reo. Remember to Noalox or Deoxit the contacts, what color are they, gold or silver? Also cut a inverted V in the tube to keep it from suctioning to the bottle.

    I've run with tiny Philips in mine for two years, no problem. Unless the post got bent so they touch it was probably the coil touching the side of the cap or the deck that caused the short.

    Normally it takes an extra stop when it goes through Chicago. Thought for sure it would be delivered on Monday. But it hit the sort location late last night and was at the local PO early this morning. They must have a new guy that they haven't taught not to overachieve yet.
