"amazing that shipping is over 11 bucks for one ball of twine on here"
Organic Hemp Twines
You can change the drop down and choose $6. Takes "1-5 weeks", but I'd never had any domestic shipping from anywhere take more than like a week regardless of service chosen.
Now I realizing dry burning on any wick that can burn (silica, hemp, cotton, bamboo, etc) in between tank re-fills or whenever, likely burns and ruins the wick. One would have to take the wick out of the coil or do the vodka soak or something instead.
Reposting this from another thread to...
No referances, mostly what I gather from the forum. I'd love for someone to write it better. I said it might be an example.
There are some threads of people cutting off small pieces from ceramic air diffusers for fish tanks and other ceramic things to make wicks.
these: Green Euro Glass Bottle 30 ml w/ Dropper Cap (Wht)
I did a search and two threads didn't get replies if they'd work with thick juice.
Someone said in another thread they're slow but will drip, but that was a general statement not about thick juice.
Like an eye dropper bottle, it...
I made the title like that so it can be Googled easier and hopefully help others.
I thought you always haveo oxidize SS unless you do the trick of putting rolling paper around it first, then burn the paper with the coil, which still oxidizes it. Or wrap the coils so they don't touch the SS...
"It's not a guess if you're educated enough to know the difference between burnt plastic and burnt cotton. You say that the info is only good for someone who takes cotton wicks seriously which indicates you don't intend using cotton, which means you're here to question proven methods with no...
Trying to make a simple and conclusive guide comparing the pros and cons of each.
The Safe Wicking Material thread's like 500 pages. Threads specific to each type go a lot more into deatail, but I hope to make a simple sort of noob guide. The Wick Summary thread as a result of the 500 page...
I think we're beyond that 'cotton wiki' at this point. It has a sort of value as if that person was one of the first to take cotton wicks seriously, but it doesn't have great info. Burn test and smell and feel after = still guessing. Emailing a company with a trick question's better that burn...
Ok, I understand you don't want to support the tobacco industry.
I'm between cotton/hemp/bamboo before I buy anything is why I havn't bought those filters.
Cig filters would likely be a PITA to make into a long wick if it even stays together, but I'm using tiny BCC wicks. However the...
^If it's not worth the fuss then buy pre-made I guess. They're cheap untill shipping almost doubles it. I'm gonna make like 10 coils at once, check the ohms are ok, and won't have to deal with them for a while.
Re: vivi nova vs BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable[changeable=rebuildable]), I think...
I looked at cotton rounds at dollar tree and think yous should consider the raw cotton cigarette filters RAW Rolling Papers. Or find other pure %100 cotton with nothing whatsoever added and hopefully organic so you don't have to boil off pesticide. I emailed them like a week ago if they can...
if you can use a forum and shop online, you can recoil a wick.
It's so easy with youtube, just use a vivi nova or similar tutorial. Get A1 32 gauge kanthal to make about a 2.0 ohm coills. You can make slightly more or less than 2.0 ohm with 32 gauge. depends on # of wraps. A multimeter is...
The coils are rebuildable, right?
Best answer I found was this video which means they are if it's a Vapeonly Mega in the video and he switched the drip tip. I don't know his language and don't see 'mega' anywhere or on the clearo, but I think Mega's Vapeonly's only current clearo unless they...
Or whomever wrapped your coil made it too tight, mourningshadow.
I was gonna get an EVOD, but I can't stand hard plastic tips anymore so I might get a Mega which is ridiculous even on a 1300mah eGo, but it's the only BCC with a replaceable tip.
What's the skirt sleeve called that I want...
I was gonna get SS because I read it's supposed to be the healthiest. But now I found this new thread where someone's payng $200 a pop for lab tests about chemicals from the SS and it;s suggesting SS's pretty bad...
"problem with glass and threads .. glass breaks very easily" If they made the threads the minumum that holds tight and not necessarily water proof, the O-ring would seal everything.
I think I may have found the best cotton option and everyone keeps dodging my question about those raw cotton cigarette filters. You can buy em online anywhere for around $5 with shipping. I'd use them in bottom coils like Kanger T3 though so no need to join pieced together to make it longer...
Thanks, I see the supposed manufacturer now.
"...it would be almost impossible." Then he said it's possible.
This product shows glass can be formed much smaller than what's needed for a clearomizer and still be stong. Hamilton Company | Hamilton Syringes & Needles | Glass Micro...
I bet they can put small threads on a glass tank, then enclose it in metal with juice level windows and it's durable. I googled a bunch and will try more later, but if anyone finds the manufacturer, please post, 'cause I want to ask/suggest what they have in the works like a mini (so I can...
what do you think about the filters I linked? Are there any safer alternatives besides emailing manufactureres hoping that they tell the truth or even know the composition of their product?
