I'm just going to do a single horizontal coil with 30g with cotton or silica. Does surgical cotton make a good wick compared to silica? I was thinking silica would be ideal. With me being a beginner and all. Since its already measured at the diameter I want(2mm). I don't have any drill bits or...
Thank you Lessifer! Exactly as the calculator read-out. I just wanted to verify it, because humans tend to have more experience in the physical realm than simple programs. I do appreciate the straight answer. Now, if only the rest of ECF community would hop on board and we'll be able to add...
Lol I wasn't going at you. Mr. Dave kind of set me of implying that I may be confused. I'm not confused, I grasp the concepts. Although they're new to me as I've only been vaping for 2 weeks now.
I'm not looking to cloud chase or anything. I wasn't chasing clouds when I was puffing a pack of...
I see this thread has been frequented for about two years. Did the original poster ever get a definitive answer to his question. I've noticed alot of ECF people will misdirect just about any question asked. They will throw everything in the book at you, except for what the amswers you were...
I like the resistance from the stock coils where one is at 2.4 and the other at 1.8 ohms giving it a good res of 2.1
34g? I'm not sure I'd be able to work with that small of a wire. I mean I play piano, I got dexterity for days buuuut I want to go through less trial and error.
When you say...
I just started vaping a high PG mix today at a 70/30 blend. I've noticed this blend irritates my asthma. Previously I was vaping an 80/20 Vg/pg blend which didn't seem to irritate my asthma as much or at all, but wreaked havoc on the flavor output. I have an iStick 30w with a Protank 3 with 2ohm...
Fifteen wraps seems awfully high...would that many wraps even be able to fit inside my atty head? I know I'm going to need two 3.6ohm coils, but what I don't understand is the leg length Part. Don't the leads need to be different lengths for pos and neg?
I was using this calculator to try and achieve a dual coil setup for a kanger protank 3. With a resistance of 1.8 Ohms using 30 AWG kanthal round wire. The two parameters that seem to have me stumped are the leg length and number of wraps. It says 15 wraps...is that per coil or 7 1/2 wraps...
I live in Fernley, NV and the only non-smoking casino in town in The Nugget. I personally believe tobacco smoking should be banned in public places and vaping should be perfectly acceptable.
A few days ago I ordered a 32ml bottle of Juice from vistavapors.com. Being a son of a chef and a cook myself, I pride myself on being one who has a great palate. So I opted to create my own blend through their "mix your own juice" feature on their site.
I went with three flavours; Lime...

Anyone know if these coils fit in a PT3?
I saw someone say that they use EVOD heads for their protanks. If theyre 510 threaded they should fit, right?
The 2 that came with my PT3 are the long-stem 2.0 ohm coils with the wicks showing. I believe these are single coils because I know the resistance should not be 2.0 if the coils are as they say on the back of the package. It states there is a 2.4 and a 1.8 ohm coil...theres no way the resistance...
Theres been no problems with it so far...I just know I'm going to need coils in the next few weeks or so. Guess I should just order stuff to rebuild them?
Could anyone point me to a guide for building a dual coil atty with a resistance of atleast 1.5-2ohms?
Yeah I checked the scratch off code already and it yielded less-than-hopeful results that my tank is authentic. The # has already been checked over 250 times...
So I deduced this to either; my tank is real and all the other checks were from clones, or my tank is fake :/. The latter is...
I had the same concerns about these wicks because I was a concrete finisher for about a year and osha was always preaching about the dangers of crystalline silicates in the air.
Although after reading the original post my concerns have been put to rest. Doesn't make sense that these wicks...
I was sold what I believe is a fake Kanger protank 3 by a local shop. The laser engraving on the bottom piece of the tube body seems to be iffy. The 3 is smaller than its suppose to be and it's offset, not aligned with the "Protank" part. Also, the coils that came with it only have 2 wicks but...
