    iso alcohol/machine oil?

I agree with Fuzzy Bruce -- far too many don't properly value alcohol on this site, and it hurts akin to hearing gears being ground in a transmission.

    Ideal settings for itaste MVP

No worries mate, but I think you're in wattage. :) The MVP, MVP2 and MVP 20w only go up to 5-7.5V. There are cases for using wattage on an MVP/MVP2, but in general you're just giving up fine-grained control (4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, etc. vs 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5)

    iso alcohol/machine oil?

Alcohols can help break down and remove machine oils and adhesive resides and such, but you may want to remove your o-rings. As mentioned, dawn + toothbrush is another good one, and depending on what you mean by "tank" little mini denture brushes that are almost like pipe cleaners can help for...

    Ideal settings for itaste MVP

Uh, guys. There's no ideal setting here, though in general with an MVP it's sweet spot is 2ohm, 1.8ohm is fine. You've got a fairly thick eliquid for a tank, assuming that's 40% PG. Start at a reasonably low setting, then bump up the voltage until it starts to taste burnt, then back it down...

    ipv mini build

Heya mate, people are going to need some more information in order to make suggestions, like what atomizer you're using, as an RTA is a very different beast from a dripper, etc. and what your goals are (flavor, vapor, etc.) :) Until then, this may be of help...

New, disabled/injured could use help& advice

...hi Wayne, welcome? How can we help you, are you looking to get into vaping? e.g., are you unsure of where to start with vaping, or having any issues? If so, ask away. If I am misunderstanding and you need someone to do your laundry or go for groceries, Wolfenstark in my sig is from Oz. I...

!! WARNING !! Kanger Subtank RBA Insulator Dissolving Into my Juice !!! What should I use to make one?

It's all those, plus depending on the type of ceramic things like needing glazes to prevent absorption otherwise, etc. :) I mean the bottom of the Space Shuttle (R.I.P.) and other things used them as heat shields, but everything has tradeoffs.

    Thoughts on ceramic wicks.....(BVCs)

Cotton lung disease (brown lung, or byssinosis) doesn't apply in using it as a simple wicking material in an atomizer. You're not correct here, and it's discussed as to why in detail here after someone else claimed it caused cancer...

    Thoughts on ceramic wicks.....(BVCs)

Hey OP! All of these points and better information on what the filler most likely is, why it's a bad thing is in this thread for you to make up your own mind. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/635724-aspire-official-statement-atlantis-coils-material.html In...

    First Build Help

Can't speak to the place you're buying, I'd check the negative reviews section and now that you have 5 posts head over to the foreign language/german area and ask (might need to tick over the hour for the server to catch up). You're definitely going to want a higher VG for blowing clouds, 65%...

    First RDA, FIRST POST!!!

I say this with a love -- if you're running 0.5 and asking that question, you haven't read enough. :) You want less wraps for more amps, but based on your first post I had a very different sense as to where you were. You can get warmer with a higher gauge or other ways too. Go here and fill into...

    Underage Vaping

I had to come around a little on this too, but some research -- and I know enough about science to not just adopt this based on some research -- does appear to be showing that how we take in certain drugs really does affect how they affect us. There's one where if it goes up your nose it can...

    First Build Help

Some notes: 1. I don't know where you ordered those batteries, but unless it's one of the few known-good places, treat them as though they are counterfeits as I don't think have the ability to really test them. They're hard to find and widely counterfeited -- and you don't know what's being...

can someone explain ohms to me?

I really should have said: "When in doubt, add a Tesla Coil and C what happens." I know, I know, "Go home db, you're drunk." Going, going.

    Hi there

It won't really, not for the mods you're looking at. :) If you have a $30-$50 box mod, in a few years by the time the batteries are dying so will the switches, etc. There are cases where it makes sense, but in yours it'd just be adding expense and extra points of failure -- you could literally...

can someone explain ohms to me?

In our batteries the potential energy gets generated via chemical reactions, and those cells can decay and get damaged. With lithium it can actually grow "spires" that can jack up through the cells and get dangerous. Never mind being right on this one just trying to beat tchavei. Edit: Dammit.

can someone explain ohms to me?

The way you worded this, I waited to see if you had a punchline. tchavei has it right, a battery is actually two parts: one full of potential and one wanting that potential. Additionally, you lose a bunch in our setups due to the coil glowing as it's almost the exact principle as an incandescent...

    Underage Vaping

*holds the envelope to his forehead* The Amazing Kreskin predicts a long thread. In a perfect world, kids vaping nicotine shouldn't be much different than caffeinated coffee at Mcdonalds. However it isn't a perfect world, and there are three issues: 1. There's a lot we don't know about vaping...
