Welcome to ECF DEERDUDE. Congrats on 2 months. I feel the same way. I would have never quit without my PV. Never had a desire to quit smoking, even though I knew it would be the death of me. What is your favorite MsT's flavor? I have been wanting to try some, but not real big on bakery flavors.
Be careful boiling. I had one bottle that I put in hot water from the tap and it melted the bottle (admittedly, I do like hot water and keep the water heater turned higher than most). I can only imagine what boiling water would have done to it.
There is also a North Texas Forum. I am pretty bad about not checking in very often, but it might be a good resource for area specific questions.
North Texas Vapers
Oh, BTW Sonic - I copied your post to another thread with a link to this one regarding a fellow North Texan looking for vaping supplies. That list is great! Thank you so much.
Gosh darn....Good Vapes site is still down for "maintenance". Did any of you make it over there yet. It is so far out of my way, but I may have to bite the bullet and do a sweep of all the stores in DFW just to say I did!:p
North Texas Brick & Mortar Stores
Hey Y'all...Let's use this thread to list all the North Texas Brick & Mortar stores along with relevant addresses/phones/websites. I'm going to make it sticky so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle as other threads are created, etc.I'm going to keep the master...
2nd what mooretad said. The first week, I couldn't vape at all without hacking and coughing. After that it got better, gradually. I would try and keep busy and not vape the first hour or so after I got up and drank lots of water (again with the drinking water suggestion) At around a month it...
Have you tried direct dripping on the attie (without attaching the cart)? That should tell you if your attie is the problem. Personally like the KGO and use it. I have no experience with the EGO C, hopefully someone who has used it can jump in and let you know if you're doing something wrong.
+1 for common sense. My DH (who doesn't vape) had heard about the exploding e-cig and was scared to tell me (I already knew, I'm on the ECF all day). He thought I would run out and buy a pack of analogs. I laughed so hard when he told me that.
Ha, thought I was the only one who thought the vapor felt cool! Also discovered the laser thing by accident. The kiddo was very impressed and now wants me to show his friends when they come over. He turns it on and I blow vapor along the beam. Cheap parlor tricks, what can I say?
Some detail companies have a process for cleaning the vents. Never had it done, so I don't know how well it works. Have sprayed air freshener in the vents of a previous car and I wouldn't suggest doing it too much. As the liquid dries it gets sticky and will cause the vent adjustors to stick and...
I used febreeze for fabrics on every soft surface in my car. Also, clean, clean, clean the windows. For some reason the glass really holds onto the stench. I also put potpouri satchels in my trunk.
I had one cigarette the day I started vaping. I haven't had one since. Best of luck and remember it is different for everyone. It is not a competition. Some people quit analogs on day one, others at a week, a month and so on. Every analog you don't light up is an improvement for your health...
