Noticed a common thread among us newbies...

Agree to disagree. On the contrary I have found most ECFers very helpful and supportive.

The MENTAL draw to smoking analogs

Wow, maybe someone should start a thread "Who keeps a pack of analogs in the center console of their car as a safety blanket"? I too keep a half used pack there still and it has been 38 days since my last "smoke". I keep that pack there as more of a testament to strength...It is there....It is...

The MENTAL draw to smoking analogs

ClippinWings - I agree about laughing at ourselves. I advocate it often, even in situations not related to quitting smoking. It is good to keep our sense of humor as it will help keep things in perspective.

Noticed a common thread among us newbies...

My statement was directed to the number of posters I have seen recommending X mod or Y mod when a new vaper is having trouble with a simple 510 ego type setup. The perfect solution for MOST newish vapers, still trying to kick an analog habit, is NOT a complicated mod. Especially if they are not...

The MENTAL draw to smoking analogs

Very wise. Exactly how I feel. Wish I could "like" this a thousand times!

I think what most "veteran" vapers forget is that it is still important to have backup devices. If a new vaper purchases a top of the line mod, chances are that is all they will have in their arsenal. If there are problems with the device or heaven forbid, they just have simple user "errors"...

    out of stock

Problem is if you have not ordered from a vendor before, they are sooooooooo sketchy about providing details on cartos. Only half tell you the ohm rating for their cartos and very few state whether their cartos are horizontal or vertical coil. I spent 6 hours yesterday searching for cartos...

The MENTAL draw to smoking analogs

As others have already said I replaced smoking with vaping. Some things I am still avoiding as I am not very far into my journey (a little over a month). Once you get comfortable with your PV and find the right liquids and nic strength, things get easier. The first couple of weeks, not a day...

    Mistic Ecigarette Questions

Get some binder clips and pop off the little silver arms. The L shaped part that hooks into the black part of the clip works great......much better than the dental pick I was using at first. I've moved on to a KGO manual battery but if I ever get into a desperate situation I'll be running...

    My cartomizer broke

Some are successful cleaning cartos. I cleaned mine the first few weeks. However, after finding sources for cheap cartos like CCV and Madvapes. It is easiier to use a carto for a week and trash. I keep a few in case I ever have a carto emergency. The cartos I keep for emergency still work,but...

A little discouraged...is vaping for me?

Ambition is correct it maytake some time for your taste buds to rebound. At two weeks completely analog free I finally started to taste the flavors. You can also order some juices with extra or double flavor and that may help. It takes everyone some time to findhardware and juices that will work...

    A little help please........

With a 650 mah battery you should be fine using LR cartos. If you are using sweet or fruity liquids, you may not like what these cartos do to the flavor. I don't. Kinda makes the sweeter juices taste a little burnt. I have heard LR cartos are great for tobaccoflavored juices though. Just a...

    Super Happy News

Good job all of you. I'm working on my stepdad and sister right now. Slow going on both. Neither is ready yet. I hope with enough gentle love and info they will be ready at some point. I've been vaping exclusively for a little over a month and I think they are still waiting to see if I will be...

    Texas Vape Meet - curiosity

Let's bring this forum back to life. I have never seen another soul vape in my daily life. The exception being infrequent trips to DFW vapor stores. Would love to have a meet up.

    Electric Cigarette/Loser?

Funny story - I was at a family gathering last weekend. Went out to the host's garage where about a dozen smokers were gathered. I discreetly pulled out my smaller PV, an elite 808. They were all like oh is that one of "THOSE" (said with disgust and contempt) electric cigarettes? I confirmed...

    CVS/Caremark Tobacco-free policy to include E-Cigs

Amen! I know a very large retail chain that operates around the world and does not sell analogs. I say if CVS wants to take a stand against tobacco, they should put their money where their mouth is and immediately cease all sales of tobacco prods. Thereby, also foregoing all profits from said...

    Buying a KGo!

Definately a problem with the DCC. Put on a KR8 carto with an adapter and this thing is awesome - warm vapor, lots of flavor and TH with a 12 mg juice. I'll fill up another dcc tonight and try it out tomorrow.

    Buying a KGo!

Awesome a little knowledge can be dangereous.... TY Tami & Charlz Tami, I blew out my carto one more time and have to wait until I leave work to see if that helped or not. I will keep trouble shooting until I figure it out TY.....TY..... I can't say it enough
