Don't let my feeble first attempt at a TC build discourage you, It very well might be a step up once nailed. The TC builds have a much steeper learning curve than a simple NiChrome micro build that I've had 3+ years to perfect...looks like it's back to school for many of us. -

I've only built it once for TC using titanium, it seemed to lock the cold coil resistance no problem but naturally the resistance number fluxuated with use...wish I had more TC info to pass to you guys, with a full day of fiddling with it I couldn't get performance that was on par with my go to... -

The build longevity is definitely the big draw for me, but not if I have to sacrifice flavor or vapor to get it. If the primary goal of TC is dry hit prevention then I really don't need it, using RTA' s exclusively I never get anywhere near a dry hit...the TC makes total sense for RDA's, but... -

Can't answer that question, not sure why they went in this direction... CRX and some of the others here may be able to shed some light on this subject. Basically joules (power) is wattage by another name, personally I'd like to see wattage and how many volts I'm getting to the coil...but don't... -

In TC mode you don't have a wattage option, unless I'm missing something here...don't think so though. I played with various temps between 350-500 degrees and same with joules, just couldn't get it to perform as desired in any setting, the coil is a tight micro and that could be my problem... -

OK gang, my first titanium build on a SubTank mini measures .187ohms, 2.5mm, 26 gauge grade 1,6 wrap, I'm looking for temp/joule recommendations…seems like this temp control thing is going to take lots fiddling with settings to find the sweet spot…something I don't really have the patience for... -

How many of you involved in this thread actually use the charge port effectively losing the mod for some time, pass through use doesn't count...I'm sure most if not everyone here that's been vaping more than a minute owns more than one 18650 battery and a proper charger, if the D2 or any other... -

Hopefully he's not blowing vape, seems like P4U would have released any additional colors at the same time, most of the big makers are doing just that....I had to buy a black subtank mini to match up, my 5 other tanks are Kayfun Lite's so a silver D2 is pretty much mandatory for me. -

This doesn't make sense to me, why wouldn't you just keep a spare battery on hand…being portable as you say how would you stop whatever you're doing to charge it for multiple hours, I don't get it. -

My D2 got punted off the vape bar at my shop yesterday, it survived...no dings, dents or scratches. I had a silicone sleeve on my SXM and hated it...not pocket friendly so I won't be putting one on my D2, if it scratches oh well.
