Have to agree mostly, except in a few cases where the port is required for firmware updates, the charging and pass through feature they can ditch. -

With easy access to the battery I'm not sure why you'd ever use the charge port, I suspect most 18650 users own more than one battery and if it's firmware isn't upgradable not sure it even needs a port...then again maybe you'd use it for travel if you don't want to take your charger with you... -

What Roxy said, the IPV D2 might work for you, pretty stealthy, 1 18650 with quick change door, 75 watts with Nickel or Titanium priority...$69.95 list but can be had for 49.95 in a few places, oh...and comes with the silicone sleeve. And the chip is authentic YiHi- TruSound
