    The bottom cap is flatter and more stable but still not 100 percent flat probably due to the width of the mod

    On a fully mechanical mod the battery will not just stop working but you will feel when it needs to be charged in your vape. The protection will stop it from getting so low it vents but not from getting slow 3.4 volta
