As for as I know, SMY doesn't make replacement parts for their mods. At least I haven't found them on the website, yet. If you're handy with a soldering iron then fasttech might have a spring-loaded or adjustable 510 connector that fits. I've been toying with the idea of doing that with my...
To vape with higher power you need massive airflow and fast wicking to keep the coil(s) cool (among other things). IMHO, most tanks just don't have the ability to provide enough airflow.
With regulated, high power mods like the Sigelei and the SMY180 you don't need to build super low to use...
Umm, No...they don't. Their resistances need to be equal and each coil may require some tweaking to get the ramp up time compatible but multiple coils do not need to be identical configurations. The operative parameter to electrical safety is resistance, not configuration.
So would I...
As far as smoking cessation, vaping is the ONLY thing other than Marine Recruit Training that has been able to keep me off analogs for any length of time. Boot camp only worked for as long as I was there and I started smoking again right after graduation. 30 years of smoking almost 1.5...
IMO, one of the biggest misconceptions in vaping is the thought that one has to buy new gear to chase that "perfect vape" instead of learning to get that 'perfect vape' by tweaking the gear one already owns.
Welcome.
Best advice I can give would be to read Baditude's blogs to get up to speed on batteries and such:

Actually it's: too much wattage + not enough juice + not enough airflow = fireball
I often use my GOD180 at near its limit. Sorry for the confusion in my other post
Edit: I just re-read your post and noticed the part about heat dissipation (airflow)
Just an FYI:
The power settings for all GOD mods (the 180 that I own, the 180s and the 260) are split into two settings: 80w or less (normal mode) and over 80 watts (super mode). You need to manually activate the high power mode in the settings to go over 80. When you do select the 'super...
fixed that for ya
IMO, the difference between originals and 1:1 clones are like the difference between clothing labels - you're paying the extra $$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the name
That's why I like the GOD mod - it checks the resistance on the atty when you turn it on and won't fire below a preset point. Even though I still use an ohm's reader when building, it's nice to have that extra layer, jic.
IMO, your first thoughts should be "Which battery won't destroy my face?" not "what's the lowest resistance I can get to for this tank"
Do yourself, and those standing near you, a favor and research some of Baditude's blog entries and posts on battery safety.
Edit: Actually, after...
