The only reason that a coil in my dripper doesn't make 6 months or more is that I, and I'm assuming most who drip, won't leave my set up as is for that long before I decide to try a different build. I had one build that lasted 6 weeks and then ripped it out to try a different one.

Playing the devil's advocate: Conceding the above, it's pretty obvious that the exhaled vapor is not only water vapor because it sometimes has a residual odor and can/may leave a film on glass. Even though there may be no evidence of harm there is also no evidence showing otherwise.

the coils were just sitting in open air...they didn't have air flowing over them like when being used for vaping.
I'd recommend trying it again with about a 40/60 or 30/70 blend juice and blow on the coils after you hit the fire button....it should take a bit longer before it bursts into flames.
