GP Series by VapourArt - Official Thread for GP Spheroid, GP PAPS, X, GP Piccolo, GP SnP and more - Part 3

I am having a blast using my v4 with a velocity right now, but just to test out the GPin, I decided to try a few other of my atomizers on it. The majority of them work great, but I notice that there are a few with longer 510 connections such as the authentic Tugboat v2 that do not sit flush...

I guess I'm the only one then that thinks there is an empty place for a missing GP atomizer. But a finely machined RDA that looks like a Heron (but shorter) and with a shorter wider bore drip tip big enough to drip though. It could even have the same style post placement, just longer like a...

I heard an anti vape commercial on my local radio station today!

Isn't alternating vaping and smoking healthier than just smoking the whole time? Kind of like, "I tried to eat vegetables in order to quit eating donuts all day but I only ended up eating vegatables some of the time and donuts sometimes too."

    RDA Differences in rdas

I've got an authentic Velocity. I hope your clone is just as good, but don't really know. I can say that if it is, the Velocity is a really fantastic RDA. Its easy to build, has huge airflow adjustability, you can just squirt a dropper full of juice down the wide bore tip and it doesn't leak...

    RDA Differences in rdas

I've got an Ivogo Little Boy, an Ivogo Lancia, and an Ivogo Dimitri mod. The dimitri is a perfect mod. I haven't had issues with the Little Boy either. When I first got the Lancia, there was an issue with the 510 threading... it wasn't machined perfectly and wouldn't screw on to all of my...

Can someone explain the relation of clouds/flavor/RDA/wattage?

You have more build options on the mod with more power. ie: you can build more complicated coils and open the airflow even wider and still have great flavor. With the 40 watt, you are limited to what you can do with 40 watts.... which is a lot, but you can certainly do more with more power.

I just looked at it, but I am in the UK right now and moving back to the US in August. So I can't buy from a US seller for another month yet.

    0.2 - 0.15 Sub-ohming with 18650 batteries questions!

Ah, those Efests are rewraps of the Sony VTC4, IIRC. They will work too. Of course, any regulated box with protection is safer than a mech, but those batteries aren't going to explode in your mech at that resistance.

    0.2 - 0.15 Sub-ohming with 18650 batteries questions!

Your authentic VTC5 will handle that load. The Efests are rewraps so I don't know which one you have.

    0.2 - 0.15 Sub-ohming with 18650 batteries questions!

The spring on your clone is not the best and so it is not as low a resistance as it should be. It is heating up because the resistance of the spring is near the resistance you are wrapping your coils. The highest resistance in the circuit is going to heat up the fastest. So, you could fix the...

GP Series by VapourArt - Official Thread for GP Spheroid, GP PAPS, X, GP Piccolo, GP SnP and more - Part 3

Its out of stock. I might get one when available though. I am surprised that there is no GP RDA, however.

I don't know what the v3 switch is like, but this v4 switch does have a notch on the inside. It doesn't spin at all. So it can't back out. And the locking ring stops flush at the bottom of the tube before the point where the switch is screwed in on the inside, so the switch can't be unscrewed...

    Best way to blow cloud?

not really. get some 24g kanthal and make 6 wraps around a 2mm screwdriver. make two coils like this. Put it on your rda and test the resistance. If not at around .21, then do it again. Wick it so that there is room for air to flow at and under the coils (don't just stuff cotton anywhere)...

Are premium juices worth the extra money?

Ok, but a fine Kobe steak wouldn't be cooked even without sauce at one of the cheap mass juice sellers. They would just cook some basic packaged meat from the freezer. Just because I think basic flavors are unsophisticated doesn't mean that they are for beginners. Some people really like...

    RDA Differences in rdas

They will all light up, but not at the same time or with the same speed. It looks like you are doing a 2mm ID? 6 wraps like this, dual coil should be around .21 ohm. If not, something is wrong. Add two more coils and you should be slightly above .1 ohm.

    RDA Differences in rdas

Is that 24g kanthal? With that many wraps you should be somewhere above .1 ohm. Something must be shorting somewhere. And your coils all have different wraps. It wouldn't work right even if you fixed the short.

I think VapourArt should design a 22mm RDA without visible air holes on the sides. And fits on a the new paps v4 with a hybrid look.

Are premium juices worth the extra money?

I often purchase e-juices from thedripclub.com, I order stuff that I know, and also many weeks I get their HERO boxes. I am not aware of any marketing. Or any hype. In fact, there is usually stuff in the HERO box that I have never heard of before. But it is all high quality juice.

Are premium juices worth the extra money?

There are two camps here: 1) The vapers who purchase basic, often cheap, flavors like MBV and don't think anything else better exists. Or they just prefer the simpleness of these kinds of flavors. So the people in camp 1 are perfectly happy. 2) The vapers who have already tried the basic...
