MCV Raptor T6 - the new mech box from the guys who did the Cherry Bomber!

Glad you came back to the mech world! And you certainly picked a fantastic mod. I have a similar (slightly different) clapton coil setup in my Raptor, it is a wonderful vape. Is yours a clone? A previous poster asked about the quality of the aluminum clone. I take it that it is excellent.

    Best RDA for Cloud Chasing?

Velocity is one of my favorites right now. I have also been using a Revolt clone quite often. OP, you can chuck the clouds with any RDA that has big airflow. Just pick one that you like the design.

MCV Raptor T6 - the new mech box from the guys who did the Cherry Bomber!

Well the batteries would certainly stay stacked in a raptor, but I think you would have better specs, both in mah and cdr, if you just used a good pair of 18650s. Eta: with the extra voltage from the stack, you would need to rebuild any rda you wanted to use specifically for this mod.

MCV Raptor T6 - the new mech box from the guys who did the Cherry Bomber!

I've never run a series parallel battery setup like that. In fact, I have never stacked batteries, its not something that has ever been recommended. But this is essentially an upgraded cherry bomber. If you wouldn't do it on the cb, this mod isn't going to be much different circuit-wise. The...

HELP! New to RDA need advice.

On an unregulated mod, the lower ohm is going to draw more power from the batteries. All of my builds are fairly low resistance... I would never build anything above .25 ohm, unless it was a single coil build which I don't usually do. These are lung-hitting setups. So maybe I am not the best...

    Smoothest E-Juice Possible

I am not the person to talk to if you are looking to save money. There are many budget online vendors that have some pretty basic flavors that a lot of people here like. I don't prefer these budget mass juice makers though. I often order HERO boxes from thedripclub.com, all of the flavors are...

    Smoothest E-Juice Possible

I have a bunch of flavors at any given time, because I usually order boxes of stuff from different online vendors. But, right now, I am vaping Rocket Man by One Hit Wonder. This is a smooth vape, its very creamy like a whipped cream, and with blueberries. It comes in a large 180ml bottle, so...

    Smoothest E-Juice Possible

I actually just keep a list of flavors that are good. That was just a small part of my list, actually. But I copy-pasted it here. But, as you get in to this, I think it is a good idea to keep track of the good flavors, because there are so many flavors to try!

    Smoothest E-Juice Possible

12mg is painful, IMO. I think you should stick with 3mg. If thats not enough nicotine, then you should upgrade your gear.

    Smoothest E-Juice Possible

Here are a few that are smooth in 3mg. Probably not so smooth with 6mg or higher: ANML - Looper Epic Juice - Banilla Fogboss - Bobby Two Fingers The Schwartz - The Downside Traditional - Indian Giver Potion Vape - Coco Roons One Hit Wonder - The Milkman One Hit Wonder - Rocket Man Cuttwood -...

HELP! Burning taste despite all solutions tried and tested!!

I am not sure if this is the kind of answer you are looking for, but an RDA will fix your problem instantly and you will never have issue again.

Post pictures of your working wick and coil setup

I do own a lot of clone atomizers, but my velocity is authentic. Regardless of that though, the design of the Velocity deck makes it very easy to do more complicated wire builds. It's the kind of RDA that provokes this kind of build. It really helps too to fully take advantage of the large...

Post pictures of your working wick and coil setup

I like all the Velocity builds! What a great RDA for building! Here is the fused clapton I have been using recently. I just re-wicked it and took a picture. I don't often make wire like this, because it takes some time for me to do. But it certainly is a very warm vape that works great with...

    Unregulated Box Mod

But we aren't talking about a practical workaround for the overly cautious. We are talking about the rated CDR of batteries in parallel, which is exactly double. And Mooch just said that it is not significantly less, even in a less than ideal scenario. Although he does occasionally use 15 to...

    Unregulated Box Mod

Right, any extra percentage tacked on to 0 is an error margin, put there to cover for stupid user mistakes, mismatched cells, a single failing battery, a wired mod with poorly soldered battery terminals, or a user who forgot to insert one of the batteries. It is kind of like teaching someone...

    Unregulated Box Mod

Your reliable sources are wrong. This is basic electrical principles. Here is a link to batteryuniversity.com, where there is a good intro to series and parallel battery circuits: Serial and Parallel Battery Configurations and Information ETA: I am not advocating that OP do a build that...

PSA: Cherry Bomber mech box mod is just that.. A bomb. Do not use.

Its not really a hard mod to use. The way it works seems blatantly obvious to me, just like any other mech. This mech is one that works well. We keep saying that it is for "experienced vapers", but really, it's just not for stupid people.

    Modifying your PV

I have a few that I have build from Hammond boxes. You need a switch, a MOSFET (if unregulated), a 510 connector, and a battery sled.

    Unregulated Box Mod

Oh, I would think that 28g should be fine at .4 ohm. Maybe your build isn't good. Can you post a picture? Are you using an RDA?

    Unregulated Box Mod

Wrong. You have two VTC4 cells in parallel. You could technically draw 60 amps and still be within the CDR, if you want to stay below CDR. You can see this for yourself using ohms law. You have many options. If using 24g, I would start with a .2 ohm build, which will be at half the CDR for...
