Okay so something strange. I took out my solid center pin and put in the hollow pin. The pin doesn't sit center in the ss cup any more? Changed new insulators and that didn't help, maybe I'll just order a new hollow pin? -

So you can fit all sorts of single coils in this... Some require some help though. I made a little holder so I could use 2 hands to mount some coils and it helped a lot. Clapton helix -

I think 28g zipper coils give pretty damn good flavor without the throat hit.- Lubricatd

I only found 4 that had that head size after ripping the motherboard and everything out, but 2 of them are too long. -

So I was on my regular daily path of destruction and I ran across 2 of these little guys screwed into the back of an old cd/dvd drive. Yep, that's a nice full connection on that 22g. I'm about to go tare into another laptop to see if I can find some more! -

I can fit 24 gauge nice and snug under the screws, I haven't tried 22 yet. I use my apollo on an unregulated box and a mech mod and I'm more than satisfied with the performance. -

Parallel 32 gauge 6 wraps, 2 mm id, .6 ohm. hits like a champ. One side is over wrapped and I didn't notice before it was too late. -
