PSA for those doing a rebuild on an older REO
I had to have a new connector put in mine as well. I know mine was worn for quite a while before I sent it in. THis was after using a grand for 24/7 for about 2 1/2 years. I was sparking with a flat top sony vtc5 at 1 ohm so I just put a tiny amount on the pin and its been fine. Guess you've been busy hitting the books? Good to see you drop by. -

THis has been working for me. I added a couple of wraps of 28 gauge wire after getting my rebuild kit. 1.2 ohm. Yes I like my coils low to the base below the air hole. Coil made on a 16 gauge luer. Notice the tapered end of the RxW. Tapering the tip and wetting the wick with juice aids in... -
