    Probably. Depends on the meaning of 'significant'. Check if it's from the positive side; the negative legs have more heatsink. The positive post is insulated from the deck, so that side tends to get hotter.

    Really need to have a few batteries so that you can vape on one battery while others are charging. With 18650 (18mm diameter by 65mm long), you can swap out the battery without unscrewing/screwing on the tank on top which tends to wear down the connection.

    One thing to consider is the new vt/tc (variable temperature / temperature control) mods that can do variable temperature with a variety of wire types including stainless steel. Steel can be used in vt mode or vw mode, and it's generally regarded ok to dryburn it.

    Nothing wrong with checking every 20 minutes when you start out with unregulated volts, but you soon develop a feel for it. 4 volts at 0.5 ohms gives about 30 watts 3 volts at 0.5 ohms gives about 20 watts You'll notice the difference.
