    Coil Problem Kanger RTA

You are probably just using the wrong wire and the ohms ends up being too low for your mod. Get some 28 gauge kanthal.

Question on VV/VW charts and max watts for coils

Yes those charts are outdated. Back then most coils were made with pretty much the same type of wire. Nowadays, a much wider variety of wires are used for coils and many modern coils come with the wattage range printed on them or on the packaging.

    Should I go rebuildable?

If you are happy with your t3s, you should try out rewicking. I used to put in a rewicked coil every two days back when I used to use protanks. Not worth recoiling though, unless you are desperate; just dryburn and rewick a few coils once a week and swap out a fresh coil every few days. 1: how...

Almost all of my 510 pins are leaking now

510 pin adjustments; yeah, that's something I wouldn't do. One thing I learned early on is not to interfere with that 510 centerpin connection. I wouldn't bother removing a 510 thread connector unnecessarily for months at a time.

vape produced is very harsh, why?

based on your description I'd guess there's something wrong with your nicotine strength calculation. Try some 0 nic to see if that's the problem. (are you vaping 24mg or are you starting with 24mg as the concentrate?) (are you vaping 0.2 to 0.6 mg strength?)

vape produced is very harsh, why?

maybe you're putting ten times more nicotine than you are supposed to . or maybe there's alcohol in your flavoring and it needs more steeping time.

    Electronic failure due to vape

When I bought my tv a few years ago, the place refused to sell it without a big surge suppressor thingy. I notice I do get lots of clicks and switching lights on that surge suppressor thingy; certainly for example whenever I plug in my kettle to make a cup of coffee or turn on my microwave oven

Back to a mech full circle

A hybrid does not mean a custom made atty. Different mods use different tube threading, and the typical hybrid atty will fit one threading (of course) and not another. Meanwhile, nobody sells thread adapters, which would really be simple to make. Common tube threadings are: m20x1 m21x1 m20x0.5...

Extreme dry hit - every time!

vaporesso target 75 vtc vtc: that tells me its a variable temperature control mod. ccell ceramic coil: that's a very new type of coil. check out youtube for that setup. as a general rule, you can start low on the settings on your mod and move up slowly. you need to lock the resistance for...

airflow less or more? More flavor? More vape?

    More wattage needs more airflow.

Back to a mech full circle

The pic on the left of my posts shows a hybrid; There is no 510 threads. There is no topcap. The rda threads directly onto the tube. The rda has a very big, clear centerpin, with a big black insulator. The threading on this one is m20x0.5 Nemesis_kick-3d by edyle posted Dec 9, 2015 at 8:38 PM

    Safety question

I do not have an istick100, but one thing I do know about it is that it is one of the very few regulated mods that uses batteries in parallel; most regulated mods that use multiple batteries use them in series. You should try it with 1 battery and see whether the mod detects that there is only...

    How to..

dryburn the coil, and immediately after dryburning, tighten the screws. 24 gauge needs more power per ohm to run than 28 gauge; with 24 gauge you will also tend to end up with much lower ohms than if you use 28 gauge. I just think that based on what you said, you will find 28 gauge easier to...

    A question about temp. control.

The 21.1 amps is the amps through the coil. What you need to look at is the wattage. All that matters is whether your batteries are good for the wattage you mod requires.

Back to a mech full circle

that's not likely. my 3d rda (clone) for example costed me about $7 and I've seen it on sale for less than $4. there isn't anything inherently pricey about a truehybrid atty.

Tfv4 triple & quad check atomizer issue

sounds like you are just trying to use coils are are below the ohms range of the mod.

    Clarifying temperature control-a few questions.

If somebody happens to be using a tc coil that runs at a higher power on average that what they normally run in wattage mode, then they will find it drains the battery faster. If you want to compare battery drain in tc mode to vw mode, you'd need to use the same steel coil in wattage mode and...
