    Safety question

As susan said in the 4th post, there are two different amps. If you want to know the amps output of your batteries at 80 watts that is 40 watts per battery watts = volts x amps using 3 for volts, that's 40 = 3 x amps so amps = 13 amps. If you want to know the amps flowing through the coil, it...

    Safety question

You are probably confused from trying to deal with more than one thing at a time. What amps is it that you think you want to calculate for running at 80 watts?

    Safety question

If the lithium battery goes down to about 3.2 volts, the regulated mod usually considers that the cutoff or discharged point. In terms of the mod output voltage, in tc mode they go down pretty low because of the low resistances of most tc coils. often below 3 volts.

    A question about temp. control.

that 480-500 degrees above would be farenheit.

    Safety question

No the 5% is about efficiency. Not all the power from the battery gets used usefully; some is wasted as heat loss on the circuitboard.

    How to..

1: " I use Samsung 25R batteries in my mod, and the Internet says for a Sigelei 150w, the batteries are in series, so (first point of needed clarification) I think that means I can't exceed 20A?" All that matters is whether you trust those batteries for 75 watts each: (75+75=150) 2: "(This is...

    Safety question

your math is wrong because the amps from the battery is different from the amps and voltage in the coil. Just look at watts instead. Each battery can deliver 3 volts x 20 amps = 60 watts. So long as you are below 60 watts, you are safe, even if one of the batteries isn't making proper contact...

    Safety and higher voltage

Yes, it is temperature that matters. The bigger the coil the more power you need to get it warm.

Does anybody know if inhaling instead of ingesting food , flavor ingredients causes harm?

There is not a chemical called "Flavorings/Artificial Sweeteners/Colorants". The risk involved with the amount of "Flavorings/Artificial Sweeteners/Colorants", depends on exactly which "Flavorings/Artificial Sweeteners/Colorants" are being inhaled. I think if you had a thousand vapers who vaped...

    300 Watt Spartans Box Mod

anything like a hundred watts or above I'd rather plug into the wall than walk around casually with lithium batteries putting that out. but to answer the original post, it sounds irresponsible to put out such a mod that seems to require top of the line batteries just for starters. then again...

    Dual vs quad coil

Well, if you have a pack of 28 gauge 1 ohm prewraped coils, and you put two of them on on rda, you get a 0.5 ohm dual coil which is going to run at around 20 watts; and if you put 4 of them on another rda, you get a 0.25 ohm quad coil which is going to run at about 40 watts and make twice as...

    Changing flavors?

Yes. No reason not to have an rda. Simple, cheap, and most of them are basically indestructible.

my guess is you were chain vaping, and the wick couldn't keep up and went dry. only thing you can do is change the coil. or is the tank empty?

    Domestic airmail battery ban???

watt-hours is a universal .. actual measure of energy. amp-hours is what is usually quoted on 18650 lithium. I suppose the reason for using amp-hours (or milliamphours) is just historyonics.

New to vaping, want to learn some things

3mg strength liquid contain 3mg per millilitre. So vaping 3mg strength of 3.5ml tank a day amounts to 3 x 3.5 = 10.5mg total of nicotine per day. I think a lot of people vape 100mg per day, so 10 is not much at all to be concerned about.

    Domestic airmail battery ban???

Presumably it depends on the total mAh of the battery shipment. mAh is the milliamphours. It is a measure of the energy stored in the battery.

    Flavor question

If you've been a heavy smoker over a long period of time, your tastebuds are going to be on a bit of a wild ride for a few months. I smoked for 3 decades. Swithced to vape in 2013; I still notice some old smells coming back. Do yourself a favour and don't chase the flavors too hard.
