    Wow I didn't realise the government had gone to that extent. Oh well....cigarettes, e-cig, what's the difference it's all illegal. Haven't been there in two years, but I'd imagine that bars and clubs are still providing ashtrays with 'no smoking' signs on the walls while paying off the police?

    Ah I see.. no conductivity. Well that's a legitimate reason to use it as a coil and after having a proper read of the ebay listing I noticed that it's supposedly a high temp enamel. If it works it would no doubt make things easier..... but where's the fun in that;)

    I've done some enamelling at uni. It melts at around 800 degrees Celsius. What temperature do kanthal and nichrome wire turn red hot at? Enamel is food safe when hardened, but I can't see any reason to use it on a coil. Even if kanthal gets red hot at a temperature way under 800 degrees, my...
