    Wicking when the coil is small and the glass fibre wick threads come apart...

    (this might be no news to experienced builders, but I'm so proud I just discovered this myself :vapor:): I wrapped cotton around one end of the glass fibre and twirled it pointy like in a cotton wick. Made it easy to thread into the smallish wick.
