Steam Monkey Product Updates and Discussion: Join the Troop!

Yeah not giving up yet, ordered a 12"x12" of #500, and found 100' of Nichrome 60 34 awg for $6, so plenty of wire to burn coils but I read Nichrome is a lot easier to work with and can wrap tighter coils with them close together which is the way I'd like to set it up anyway so shouldn't have...

Steam Monkey Product Updates and Discussion: Join the Troop!

I don't know what I've done wrong, but I just can't get the thing to work, used up all the included screen and wire, no matter what I did wouldn't go over 1.5 ohm, just the first wrap would glow and blow constantly, i would just leave the wire unwrapped connected to the posts and can get 3 ohm...

Steam Monkey Product Updates and Discussion: Join the Troop!

Looks like I looked up for an RBA at the right time, was going to go ahead and order a z-atty u and resell it if I didn't like it. But got tired of waiting, doing a search for "AGA-T RBA" on google pulls your listing on 1st page, so grats there. Ordered a kit when there was 5 left, so assuming I...

    Attention ProVari Owners

My friend has one and I didn't care for it, yes it's built solid, but the menu has got to have the most annoying menu of any VV out there. Click 5, 7, 9, 12, Jesus I just want to turn the damn thing off. Quite happy with my chrome LT. Will get the v2 when Volcano comes out with the chrome for...

How long is this batt supposed to last you?

Eh performance seems to take a big hit for me when they hit the 3.6-.7 range, that's when I have to swap mine, but I got stuck with some 3.0 DC carts for my TT. Have to run at 6v to get the hit I was used to with the SC's I ran at 4.5-5. But at 6v hitting quite a bit usually lasts me about 8-9...

lava tube: sr vs. lr single coil cartos?

I'd reccomend SC, ordered some and got some DC 3.0's by mistake. They work, but have to crank em up to 6v to get what I'd have to only go to 4.5-5v with SC. And running 6v runs my batts down alot faster. So would say overall SC is the better way to go.

    Blu e-cig return!

Took about 3 weeks including the shipping time to get it back, even forgot to send a charger and still refunded the whole amount.

I love this thing. I think it's gonna help me quit everything.

Yeah that could be it, what I was thinking at least. Higher voltage (running at 6v on 3.0 dc cart in the tank) was getting some hard hits. So I'm guessing it's the higher nic intake per hit. Since I was a 2 PAD smoker before vaping I really don't think it was of boredom lol. Pretty sure it was...

I love this thing. I think it's gonna help me quit everything.

Started off with Blu, big mistake, went to volcano and got an inferno kit with tube tank, works/ed great. Just wasn't hiting as hard as I was wanting, so ordered a lavatube with the 7ml tank and POW. I love this thing. Now from blu to This is all in a matter of a month and a half roughly, give...

Any DIY recipe for Shacks Lama?

Well now that the site is open I see there is a Lama flavoring to DIY with. Anyone know how many drops /per ml it would be? Thinking of trying to DIY next time after this premixed is gone.

Any DIY recipe for Shacks Lama?

As the title implies, or any recipe that comes close that I could DIY. Only flavor period I've liked out of about 30 I've tried. Just can't afford the stuff. I guess you get what you pay for though. Want the best, pay the best prices. lol Heard the cheapest way is to DIY but don't want to have...

The Smell - how did we put up with it for so long

My biggest regret on quitting now is my tastebuds have come back too well. Used to be able to eat habanero's like chips. Now I get the sweats and runny nose on jalapenos. So sad.

The Smell - how did we put up with it for so long

I know what you mean. My wife still does both, and I can't be in the room when she's smoking a cig, tried smoking one once after quitting, put it in my mouth and couldn't light it, stunk too bad unlit even. If I can get rid of my pv at some point I'm gonna be a smoker hater I can see it coming...

    Inhaling techniques

Put the tip up to a nostril, hold thumb over the other, hit the button and breathe deep. Best hit I've found. 6v about makes my eyes roll back in my head lol

    Saved money!?!? yeah right!!

Yeah I know what you mean. I swear if the cigs didn't taste so bad now I'd go back. I did the switch to save money but even not counting the hardware I about break even. With hardware I'm deep in the hole. I can't diy cause the only flavor of anything me and my wife has liked so far costs...

    vapingi is not for everyone

They just have to want to. This weekend I bummed a smoke from a friend, didn't really want it. Just wanted to see what it tasted like after a couple months without it. Put it in my mouth and couldn't even light it. Gave it back to him. Was stinking just holding it in my mouth under my nose. Like...

Talking with a mouthful of vapor

I had to try it to see if my voice would go down. It didn't, what a letdown, was hoping it would.
