So Im new here and trying to DIY

Not true, most PG based flavorings are 40-60 drops per ml. I've even found this true when dripping from the wide tip of a 1 ml pipette, and 10 ml flavoring bottles with droppers are much finer. So, 1 drop per ml is about 2%( to 2.5%). Most of my mixes are around 1-2.5%. I am shocked by some of...

How long do you spend in a single sitting making juice?

3-30 minutes, average 10, with a semi-permanent setup. 15 minutes to put everything away or set up and occasional other procedures. Almost everything is mixed only 25 ml at a time though. I have one I make 50 ml at a time. My favorites I've made so many times now, but I use (or at least make) a...

please advise-closest i've been to success

I was tempted to hit the "disagree" button on every anti-tobacco-flavor post in this thread. However I do agree that trying to exactly mimic a cig works poorly and I have no idea why so many try to do so, except there is something different about what one wants from vaping or smoking than eating...

using high ohms in mech mods

On a mech, resistance is your power setting, except inverse. You can build a wide variety of coils to that resistance, but they will all draw the same amount of power from the battery. So, higher ohm means it will be lower power -- that is the only thing you know for sure. This can be excellent...

    Finding floral flavors

I don't think you'd find that flavor to taste anything like other RY4's. They claim they keep it available because some like the floral note. It's pinkish. As to honeysuckle, I've been using Avail's Wild Cut and never thought to clone it...

    Finding floral flavors

TFA RY4 original tastes a lot of roses. Not what you were looking for. ;)

FDA Big Tobacco funded groups urge Congress to include Cole-Bishop amendment in 2018 Spending Bill

Neither are good options. The Hunter bill has no support and is still intolerable. The Cole-Bishop is far worse. The government has no right to interfere substantially with an industry that for the most part is regulating itself and saving lives. The government has no right to try and decide if...

Extremely disappointed about my new vape

You are listing the "mah" capacity of the battery cells. That's how long it will last between charges when run within ratings. It tends to be LOWER on the cells you need. Look for the current rating, e.g. 25A (amps) and then uses Mooch's test info to see if it actually meets spec (spoiler...

    Frustrated with diy

I haven't found commercial juice in general has a wow factor -- only certain ones. I started vaping on small tanks such as the EVOD and in that first year I found maybe half a dozen juices I loved. And guess what -- for small tanks like that I've only managed one DIY juice that can compete...

    A good one shot RY4

Vape Mall's RY4 is good in that slightly strange, presumably Oriental style, I guess it's a one shot I don't recognize it. It started off very much like the Dekang I tried (not vintage) but got better after a day or 2 (The Dekang was very artificial and yet sort of really good. ;) ). I'm using 1...

Is vaping a burnt coil dangerous? Please help.

Any time you burn the wick, unless dry, you're burning at least as much ejuice as cotton, and that is bad, producing aldehydes such as formaldehyde, etc. However, it can recover from a mild case; burnt taste may linger because it can smell up the whole atty. If you were to damage the wick enough...

Failing miserably at DIY and smoking instead. E cig too harsh.

Could be for cleaning. Wouldn't want any isopropyl getting in ejuice, for sure!

    All-in-One Vape

I suggest something that looks one piece but actually isn't, at least if you don't look closely. e.g. Innokin T series, Joyetech Exceed, Vaporesso Drizzle. That way you can move tanks around usually between battery units, or get extras, or replace the tank on one you don't like as much, etc.

New to Vaping and trying to quit cigs but coughing and worse with the vape?

^^-- That's odd. More airflow means cooler running, but sometimes a tighter airflow gets more vacuum which pulls more juice into the wick/coil unit, but that shouldn't be immediate. It sounds more like just a little too much for you. Something less powerful might be better but a larger atomizer...

New to Vaping and trying to quit cigs but coughing and worse with the vape?

I had throat issues before I started vaping and they at first seemed to get worse. Smoking leaves tiny scratches in your throat which are sensitive to liquid nicotine and the vapor has a greater tendency to condense in the throat than smoke. However it doesn't damage the throat much at all so...

    DIY Ejuice Q's

I tried the mixing with water. It wasn't impressive -- if you want to conclude all your flavors are lame it's excellent. Perhaps there is a technique, but if so it's a thing in itself.

    New member! Having battery issue!

Sounds to me that they're low current, if turning up the power makes them go immediately to low battery indication, after it says they have good charge unloaded. Presumably you could discharge them more fully with a low power atomizer. If the charger says they aren't that discharged but the...

    Claptons coil question

Yeah it doesn't draw the power. Clapton wire is actually a solution for heat up problems, to use a bunch of thinner wire and yet still make a large coil. Its reputation for slow heat up relates to more fundamental issues, like often it makes effectively a very large coil. Few are really working...

New health problems since vaping - now terrified after googling

There's the medical side, but also the vaping side of is your device working correctly? They recommend 12 watts on that tank/coil, which for me means that 9 might be OK if I baby it. Priming, etc.... Also the doc can't answer what you actually feel. If it's stress yes you may be quitting smoke...

New Guy Desperately Needs Help With Steam Engine and Coil

You need context. A 1-1.3 ohm, 28 gauge Kanthal coil does imply a classic MTL coil. But the SS316 coil of that size comes out about .7 ohm. Or you could do #26 SS316 .4-.7 ohm depending on how big you want it. Interesting "superfine" clapton you're ordering, but it's still a big wire...
