Salt based juice in a SMOK g-priv 2?

I've heard that conventional freebase nic makes some people feel sick but they don't have that problem with salts. That's third hand but otherwise puts some balance on it. Haven't tried them yet, at this point it would be more for the benefit of others. I did have issues when I started vaping of...

FDA components and parts not derived from tobacco excluded from covered tobacco product

And yet the bizarre thing about synthetic there is they (someone writing their site) mentioned it, I was only commenting -- and was really just looking for the statement that only closed system 0mg might be allowed as not containing nicotine or being made from tobacco.. I didn't quote "case by...

FDA components and parts not derived from tobacco excluded from covered tobacco product

I found this: "However, it’s possible that a disposable, closed system device that contains an e-liquid with truly zero nicotine (or synthetic nicotine) would not be regulated by the FDA as a tobacco product," -- from Commonly Asked Questions: About the Center for Tobacco Products Humm...

Vaporesso Swag can't fire below 30W in TC mode? That must be a joke!

^^-- one possible reason for the limitation would be the extremely low resistances of nickel coils, although you might think it would be the other way around. I do know the Pico will fire in TC at a lower resistance than in power mode... OK, if that's the case the Swag should limit it in nickel...

Vaporesso Swag can't fire below 30W in TC mode? That must be a joke!

^^-- I vape all day with an RDA and TC at 16 watts. I need TC more than any tank user!

Vaporesso Swag can't fire below 30W in TC mode? That must be a joke!

Unacceptable. Looks to me their version of the Pico --- how small do you have to go to get a small, normal vape? The cloud chaser tank its paired with means nothing, Pico comes with a crap tank also. Kanger is or was unadjustable, preset to 75W.

21700 batteries will replace 18650 in electrical cigarette industry!

Bigger battery is bigger. Smaller battery is smaller. Unless there's something I'm missing.... I could probably use a 18700, that would probably be enough to never run down before the end of the day. Or if I had a small, 18650, TC compatible mod with a maximum power setting that was lower and...

What vape did you get for Christmas

A powerful humidifier. Clouds are invisible though ;)

    Strange Story of Popcorn Lung

As the person only vaped a short time, seems most likely he was doing something wrong. I have considered the one thing the FDA/gov't should require is a warning that "Burning or acrid taste is not normal and if this occurs this device should not be used until the problem is fixed."

Flavor combinations given a slap in the media

Those aren't the the ingredient lists. DX Hazelnut: Perfumer's Apprentice The index: Perfumer's Apprentice Note that while they have more info than most vendors, all ingredients are given as ranges. I did just check the example of Butter Flavor and it has been improved. Previously it was...

Flavor combinations given a slap in the media

All flavors are inhaled, you can't taste right without smell, and you couldn't keep them from smelling even if you didn't need it. But vaping does take aroma to a more visceral level. The DX flavors are full of butyric acid essentially by definition, they were all diketone-containing flavors...

    Nic salts vs WTA

I've heard a claim by the guy working the local vape shop that some people feel sick from conventional nicotine but not with nic salts. So salts might help get nicotine satisfaction similar to WTA if that's really true. As to throat hit, when I started vaping I couldn't understand why everyone...

DIY Serious Help! Help A Poor DIY:er In Need

I use almost an order of magnitude difference when making juices for different devices, so it could indeed be a matter of taste ... + vape hardware + etc. I haven't seen many manufacturer's recommendations, but most or all seem to be for their whole line. Meanwhile their flavorings vary a lot...

Is Safari Juice bust but still charging credit cards?

I've seen cases in the past (non-vaping) where a website kept working including payment, but the owner disappeared.

    MTL vs DTL

No, .5 is higher, it's a bigger number. It might help to think of decimals like dollars and cents notation (2 digits to the right of the decimal point): 0.15 = .15 0.50 = .5 1.00 = 1 1.50 = 1.5 etc.

    MTL vs DTL

If you just want to pull the same amount of air with more effort, you can tighten the air flow control if there is one. But you still need to move more air through a higher power device. I've come around to almost the opposite, lazy draw lowish power. Casual. The Exceed coils almost surely...

Question about welded wire from FastTech, NR-R-NR?

That's how the Aspire vertical (chimney, actually) coil unit I took apart was made, except more like 6 wraps heating and 1.5 on each end non-heating. That wire can be used in power mode, and only in power mode. The resistance of the nickel is almost insignificant, especially on the higher...

    Out of the loop!!

I was extremely dissapointed with the dual coil EVODs I tried. EVOD 2 was OK I guess, a departure in flavor although cleaner, and not enough increase in output to justify changing. The Aerotank Mini ($20!!!) was hideous -- poor vapor, noisy, juice could be run through in 15 minutes, metallic...

    Out of the loop!!

I also was majorly into the original EVOD -- still have one in front of me right now -- actually maybe more. I usually re-coil them with coils from Fasttech and even the Kanger heads I've often rewicked with cotton straight out of the package. I hope you've been using variable voltage to reduce...

I Aspire Nautilus 2 tank ok to use with an iJust 2 battery?

^^-- YES, except that some manufacturers are describing them in a way that confuses all that. Within their system only, it is slightly descriptive and at least gives the power ballpark. It is possible to make a battery unit with boost voltage that would be necessary to get excessive power...
