    What's wrong with this circuit?

You could leave the low volt circuit for the LED but get the MOSFET out of that zener circuit, just decide yourself when to not use it. Instead of some fancy infallable circuit!

I Aspire Nautilus 2 tank ok to use with an iJust 2 battery?

My mini Nautilus works "OK" with my straight voltage battery, which is a little smaller than the tank. ;)

    What's wrong with this circuit?

I don't think you'll get a good turn-on of the MOSFET due to the zener and even if you did, as the battery drained you would end up with that problem. You don't want to partially turn on the MOSFET where there is voltage across it and still substantial current, that would probably burn it out...

Help my son in vaping underaged

This would actually make more sense if he was using nicotine. There would be withdrawal and an end to any effects regarding ADHD. If he actually did improve performance recently until losing the vape, that would be an indicator. Nicotine test kits for ejuice etc. are avail, but involve strong acid.

I Don't Trust My USB On board Charger

I charge via USB, I think it's fine on the battery, but I think the battery status part of the display is starting to get dimmer on my Pico due to getting more use. I guess I ought to get a charger before the USB wears out and can't even be used for emergencies.

why ciggaretes taste that bad after been 3 months on vaping?

I think cigs taste pretty good, if it's a good one in the first place and I pay attention on the first and second drags because those are where the flavor is, I think you're vaping tobacco a bit. You can't buy good cigs in stores in the US, those all have FSC carpet glue on them, and lots of...

Ex Domestic User 5 Years - Needing help from RY4 users

The idea that PG is more likely a problem than any other component of e-juice is an old one that won't go away and appears completely without merit. If you're having headache issues, this is more likely alcohol used to sub for PG, or a flavoring. I never tried that flavor and can't even...

Watts verse Temperature - Amp changes

Try setting both modes to the same power level and try again. Of course volts and amps are different when watts are different (and ohms are the same), congrats you just partially learned Ohm's Law. If it's hitting better in watts mode, the power is set too high in TC and it's spending too much...

    Need a new device

Instead of focusing on the battery unit (mod), it is better to consider the atomizer (tank, RBA) the center of the system. Once you have that in mind you can get a battery that works with it or maybe even one that works somewhat better. It sounds like you could be running your atomizer too hard...

What is the best All the day liquid please advice me

Perhaps you should consider dripping, i.e. a RDA? With one you can constantly switch flavors, or add variants to a base flavor. Some ejuices I have liked enough to enjoy over a several hour period: Goodejuice Patriot MFS 4 Star General Avail Wild Cut (preferably with some 4 Star) Uncle Junk's...

    Rewicking RDA daily?

I had an interesting experience with Toasted Marshmallow flavoring. At maybe 7% flavor I couldn't even go a full day. Gray wicks, thick gunk and nasty. At 3% there is no unusual gunking at all. My guess is past a certain level of flavor it has trouble vaporizing it all. Flavoring starts building...

    Concerned about additives in juices

All or almost all flavor manufacturers claim diaceytl-free now, but of course that's only part of the spectrum. Some who have actually tried all of the butter notes have claimed here that of all of them diacetyl is the least irritating, you would not know if it was in there. The substitute...

Vaping causing coughing - Should I be worried?

How much are you vaping? If you're using over 10 ml a day that could be the problem. Some can go higher, just a rough guideline. If reduction helps then the choices are put up with it, reduce frequency of use, reduce rate of use (power level etc.), or try making it more agreeable such as trying...

    DIY tobacco flavoring as standalone

I just got it, but I'm thinking FlavourArt RY4 is the best as a standalone. I also like RY4 double but much better with a little RY4 Asian, makes it more intense (adjust for aftertaste, it really lingers). You shouldn't need much or any EM with the RY4A.

    Coming soon: New MTL tanks

I'm fairly sure I saw Phil saying he MTLs at 50 WATTS! I sort of DL at 16W .. and 1.5 mg. 12 mg liquid is for 6W or less IMO. Can someone explain this to me ?? ;) No wonder this tank is for a big battery. The Ares itself does look great, I'd buy one if it weren't, to me, expensive and I have...

    Wire surface area calculator

As long as 140 W actually happens for a moment the mod is working correctly -- how fast it hits TC pretty well confirms it is. If TC (or other) immediately cut it to 60-70 it wouldn't protect rapidly. I expect the vape is better with it set properly, as well. My experience agrees that the atty...

    More local vape store dissapointment

I think the cloud chasers buy more stuff, especially at local prices, compulsively, and when they already own enough. Plus more juice. Also shops' normal markups seem worse when applied to smaller, lower cost devices. One of the local vape shops used to be vape only, but have had to move to a...

An exhibitor introduce a mechanical e-cig to a new vaping me

"60 watts is higher than you want to go." ... well probably, but also 60 watts could have been just too much for the atomizer, since apparently "exhibitor" is clueless.

I have been wrong about air flow in RDAs all the time...

In my case, the space between the coil and the cotton is about the coil diameter high and only as wide as the coil at the top. Above the coil is pretty much wide open. I think this 1) would affect the air stream some and 2) even if it doesn't, it wouldn't be bad to get more than half the air...

I have been wrong about air flow in RDAs all the time...

This is very cool, actually performing the experiments. However when you start filling in the gaps with cotton, or have a shallow deck etc. that looks to me it would affect the airflow once the proximity is close enough. Looking at my build, once the small amount of cotton goes in and walls off...
