Ẁhere to get combustible tobacco cigarettes with no nicotine?

When I was a smoker, I would have liked somewhat reduced nicotine cigs. The nic level tends to be ridiculous. I don't know if I would have smoked more or less though.

Ammit 22 single coil will kill me

Yes more wire (same gauge) could make more vapor not necessarily better for my purposes, but probably better for the OP. As to TC I find the temperature doesn't need to be that high if the power is set right, set too high the TC overcompensates. I could also get a bit more power on the same coil...

FDA Submission Date Moved to 8/8/2022

I still have to consider that vaping isn't fully "saved" yet, I think there's still a plan to regulate it strictly this could just be to have more time to "do it right" and not "ram it down our throats" but still not laissez-faire at all. The plan to manipulate nicotine in cigs would agree with...

Ammit 22 single coil will kill me

I run my RDA with 28 ga. .7 ohm ... with TC 16.5W 410 deg F. This is wick'd with the cotton touching the leads all the way to the posts to avoid burning taste with top drip. I haven't been able to get any RTAs working to my satisfaction.

MTL vapers - What watts, ohms and nic helped you quit

I used EVODs an miniPT2s on VV batteries so I could get them down to about 3.5 V @ 2.2Ω or just over 5 watts, with mostly 12 mg. I did dual use for 9 months and the end was sped up by getting into using an RDA at about 14 watts with 6 mg. To me it's more important the things can handle long...

    Is nic really addictive?

All the behaviors you describe are better explained by substance, chemistry. Yes vaping can help break the ritual somewhat by being different, but it works by being much the same and my rituals are very similar. If I hadn't been doing RYO it would have been a bigger change, charging batteries...

    Is nic really addictive?

I've seen that video and thought it was very weak and unclear. Merriam-Websters definition of addiction includes "well-defined physiological symptoms upon withdrawal" and dependence doesn't. I've had very well-defined and severe physical symptoms ... and a willingness to do it again. Addiction...

    Is nic really addictive?

The main thing that makes tobacco addictive is whole tobacco alkaloids along with the nicotine and these are NATURALLY OCCURRING ... yes I used ALLCAPS because this is not the first time I or others have stated this. I know we all like to whine about Evil Big Tobacco but the main thing their...

    FDA FDA response to lawsuits.

I went through -- not read all -- the Decision and found a few interesting things. The most interesting one is a lengthy footnote on p. 51 which states that "The legislative history reflects that Congress was well aware of the advent of e-cigarettes at the time that the TCA was passed" due to...

    Deeming Regulations have been released!!!!

^^-- It's not just the e-cig name, it's the history, however while much of the early history refers to cigarettes, not all of it refers to nicotine. In particular, while Gilbert's 1965 patent is for a "Smokeless non-tobacco cigarette" and mentions medication, it does not mention nicotine at all...

Why doesn't BT jump on board?

Vuse does have the Vibe out now, a more pen-like device. Some of the comments on their site say they tried to quit with the cigalikes and couldn't until the Vibe. Features an "innovative" screw-on tank and everything ;) . I think most BT ecigs are somewhat suited to smokers looking to try...

    Provaping verse Antivaping

I wondered about that, but mostly interpreted it as similar to smoking 5% as many cigs, for example going from a pack a day to one cig. Which in turn I'd expect to have far less than 5% the chance of causing death, but still a good chance of causing some slight effects. It's not self-explanatory...

    Provaping verse Antivaping

How about something a little different, maybe a better word is provaper research. Say we know people are going to vape that's not the question, instead it is what is OK and what really isn't. Not just be safe but what is the real relative risk, actual thresholds. If nothing else, maybe a pool to...

    Are You Kidding Me?

I've nearly had my leg burnt by AA's, but 140 degrees F, 65 C is not a fire hazard.

    Aspire pockex need advice please

^^-- the coils are replaceable because they need to be, so I would hope there would be improvement when replaced, if the old one was actually old, 2 weeks use would be more than enough. I can't say if they were really the same. The coils units probably are labelled on them what kind they are.

Sounds like the new coil is new. The old one decreased.

Using WTA in my own juice

No, different things, except both extracted from actual tobacco. The NET process yields the flavor without significant nicotine, WTA, TSNAs or diacetyl. It does remove some sugars. It's often simply a PG or VG soak and filtering. Nic is more complicated. It has been sometimes made by the same...

    What is flux?

Looking at the math, the surface area you list is of the coil, vs. the wire which includes legs. The higher power one is also dual coil, and the area you show is per coil. (The example was Coil wrapping ) The heat flux is simply the heat power divided by the surface area of the whole energized...

Is temp control just for sub ohm?

The temperature control wire is lower resistance than Kanthal or nichrome. Therefore the same coil becomes subohm, but this shows the meaninglessness of the term subohm in this case. With nickel wire, a 1 ohm style coil becomes more like .1 . As to power setting with TC, it's absolutely...
