    I did some poking around after reading that smokers have a over 50% chance of dying from some kind of smoking-related problem, well if you look at the classic smoking diseases such as lung cancer etc. I was only able to see a 10% chance of SMOKERS dying from smoking, much less the public as a whole.

    Nicotine is not considered addictive to never-smokers. Once I was free of actual tobacco's addiction (or even not quite), I realized I was getting far more pure nicotine than I ever wanted or liked and slashed it overnight. Perhaps I should now continue that trend.

    It has been said that needed steeping time increases with batch size. I find steeping to be overrated anyway. Part of the issue is, I think, that steeping progresses slower as it goes. My only "rule" is give it at least 20 minutes.
