Make VG Viscocity Match PG Using DW

By that formula, VG/H2O equal viscosity to PG is 22% water, to make the juice like 10% more PG that would be 10% of 22%, which is 2.2% of the total mix DW, with 2.2% less VG to match quantities.

    Is nicotine inherently spicy?

It gives the sensation of spice without the flavor. An often overlooked source of throat hit is flavor, one reason I suggest getting into tobacco flavors as one reduces nicotine, rather than the other way around. But almost any flavor can give throat hit if strong enough. PG doesn't have much...

Sore throat - is it harsh flavors / too much flavoring related?

I had a sore throat this last week from my rewicking not being quite right. Flavor was sometimes off, sometimes good; it was more sensitive to underdripping. That's possible even with a atomizer one is totally familiar with, the chances of great results with something new is almost zero. 95% of...

    Which wire

Unless you're using a mech or otherwise are voltage limited, no Nichrome doesn't heat up faster. Nichrome is slightly denser than than Kanthal and therefore the same length and thickness takes slightly more power. It's resistance is lower of course, for the same coil.

How to properly dispose of 100 mg/ml nicotine?

I just opened my plastic bottle of nic I bought in July 2016. It's fine.

    Question about ohms

Specs show that mod capable of .06 ohm. Know the specifications for your mod. But also they are only valid with adequate batteries and the specs should include their requirement as well although some do not. With that coil, a relevant spec would be maximum output voltage would limit maximum...

Must Stop the Insanity! Need advice on stopping dual-use.

"If it’s just a nic issue why am I still drawn to the devil?" -- it's not. There are many other chemicals in tobacco and smoke. There are Whole Tobacco Alkaloids. Info wasn't as a available back when I switched, I heard something and decided the specifics didn't matter. Maybe it was one other...

    Pet Peeve

Last paragraph of the below quote: Some one that's never vaped and never will before can wind "a coil" and install it, but getting good results or even knowing what good results are is another matter. At a week vaping, one is still learning draw technique and how that affects what is happening...

    Pet Peeve

It's one thing for someone to mention the OP would be better off with a RTA, but yeah a lot of the time it seems like half the posts say that, including a few that say nothing else. The signal to noise ratio when answering questions can be really poor. Also, I've never been able to get...

    A pin questions

It's could be confusing that both the atomizer-battery thread and a drip tip standard are both called 510. They were from the same device, a cigalike, which explains the diameter. Thus larger atomizers must use stainless steel or the like for the connector or it tends to break. I always thought...

Is there such a thing as "Read-Only" access to 'Classifieds'?

Fact: I will not be joining it unless I can see why I would care first.

Tightness of Airflow comparison of RDAs

When the tightest RDA on the list comes with a wide bore drip tip, that's a pretty lopsided list. Get an old school RDA, stick the tightest 510 tip on it you can find (keep looking), set the airflow hole the same size as the tip, perfect airflow and far more flavor.

Question: DTL vs MTL flavour percentages...

I definitely make a different mix for small clearos than my usual dripper juice. In fact, while the power difference is only about 3 times, the flavoring difference is sometimes more than 3 times. I like my regular juices light and working in harmony with the PG/VG. Very small devices regulate...

Is it true that vaping with Titanium coils can be as harmful as smoking cigarettes?

I tried making a titanium coil and messing with that contrary stuff definitely raises my blood pressure.

What Watt do you vape on?

Sounds like it's broken, or very non-optimal at either setting.

Why the Jull is what a new to vaper would want.

When I started vaping, I found even 12 mg at low power to be harsh. Juul maybe would still have been too much for me and I consider higher nicotine to not help with whole tobacco cravings, but still being able to a get a bit more with less harshness would have been good. I still find 12 mg...

    N_E_Ts flavorless?

I haven't had too much trouble with gunking with the NETs I DIY with. I mix at a lower flavoring level, for one thing. One line of DIY NETs that have gotten great reviews is Stixx Mixx, avail. from Nicotine River. They recommend lower flavor % such as 10% rather than the old 25-30% as well...

    N_E_Ts flavorless?

Of course you can't run a 70W device at 10W. That's part of vaping at 10w, way different setup. Actually I find pure NETs to taste most right at even lower power, with that milkshake through a straw type tight airtflow. But even then, the flavor can vary greatly. I did get a great experience...

    Heavy Smoker, Need Satisfaction

I'd say 3 weeks is really short. I think people have unreasonable expectations regarding time frame. I smoked for 23 years, 3 weeks is nothing. They say it takes 2 days abstinence to not need nicotine. For whole tobacco smoke after decades, that's more like 2 months. Mentally, maybe 9 months...

    30 AWG, Sacre Bleu!

I never had any problem wicking a Protank head. I started out dry burning and rewicking the original coils, they're #34 or smaller with about 1/16" ID. After that I'd pull out the wick on a new one and replace it with cotton, too much better. It's just a small coil and really hard to thread it...
