Making unflavoured base for an easy diy life...

^^-- my premix method is extremely fast so it's kind of a tossup at 25 ml sizes but is definitely easier when doing 10 ml (which isn't efficient but has other advantages). The big advantage is reducing mistakes (and the "did I do that or not?") especially when doing multiple bottles by splitting...

Been vaping 6 months still coughing

You didn't mention your device, is it burning? Harsh and acrid? If so, stop, very bad. High VG is thick and may have wicking issues. Or maybe your device can handle it but it's just too much for you. My problem with flavor too low is I hit it harder to make up for it. Maybe you just need more...

What's the strangest flavor of ejuice you've tried?

Charlie Noble Tripoli -- tobacco, almonds and figs and spices -- the figs are weird but actually it may be the spices that get out of control. Very good but just too strange to vape long. Coval Vapes Area 51 (discontinued) -- somewhat similar, with honey tobacco, graham cracker and raisins...

Making unflavoured base for an easy diy life...

Don't fill a 500 ml bottle to the top and expect to adequately mix it by shaking. I was using pre-mixed base for 10 ml bottles but recently started using it for larger bottles too. I mix 60 ml in a 120 ml bottle which allows me to get it mixed better. It should be shaken before using though, one...

    How can i hit 55 + watts without using 22 g wire?

#26 2.3Ω, 16.5 wraps on 3 mm: Coil wrapping However this needs 11.25V, meh. 12.5 wraps of #24: Coil wrapping which requires a often do-able 8V. Or, re-do the #26 as dual parallel, .6Ω no problem on voltage limits, 8.5 wraps each: Coil wrapping change to twisted as desired. EDIT: 12.5 wraps #24...

Help. My sister is a Toodle Puffer

I highly doubt that battery was actually producing 5.2V. That would be as high as 18 watts. It's probably just maxed out, further adjustment making no difference. If not I'd recommend turning it way down. Yes that is a Mini Protank 3. A Spinner or the Provari 2.5 would power it as much as is...

Do you wash your new, empty bottles ?

I don't have the impression any ejuice mass producer washes their bottles. I would hope the makers can clean them better than I can, don't really like the water here even with a filter.

Back on cigarettes because all the TFV8 coils tastes burnt

It doesn't matter how huge the device is, you can't vape at high power without the giant sucking sound of pulling in huge vapor. That's what keeps it cool. It may just be too much for you.

    What flavors linger the most?

Anything coffee that I've tried has one flavor component that really lingers, not the whole flavor at all. I really hate that flavor simply because it never ends when I'm ready. Haven't tried many coffees as a result so some may be different. I think chocolate and few tobaccos also have it, but...

What do mods vape shops use for taste testing?

One shop I know of has tanks at 40 watts ;( , another has CE4s for their house juices that are so old they're leaking and the label is rubbed off. I think they still have the same one I first tried there. One had EVODs and if I pointed out a bad one the clerk said "those all suck, we don't even...

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

^^--Thanks! My typ. 14W @ 1.26Ω is really on the edge of those ratings! but may still have to get one (was considering 2).

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

With the 2.5, what is the amp limit or lowest resistance (or max. power) allowed? Probably not that limiting to me but kind of would like to know.

Can't coil it! Low resistance problem

Of which almost all can handle .15 ohms easily in the correct mode.

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

One thing I believe is that different juices work well with different attys. I have flavors I love on an EVOD or if I pull out my Atomic RDA set up for MTL and about 7 watts but barely even like on my normal setup at a mighty 14.2 watts and I can't imagine would be of any use at 125W either. And...

    What's the difference between gauges?

The most significant indicator of the "size" of the coil is its surface area. Thicker wire has more surface area, but so does a longer wire (more wraps or wrapped on larger diameter). Almost exactly the same coil size can be made with either wire and in that case will produce the same vape...

Why does my protank II taste so bad?

Good answers, except I run all that old stuff even lower, 3.5V with the 2.2Ω coils or 3.6V with the 2.5's and forget about the more commonly available 1.8's, they need like 3 volts or something. Works out to about 5.2 watts. As power varies at the square of voltage, you were running almost twice...

What do you use for your hot bath steeping?

In the winter I sometimes have sat my bottles on top of a warm range for while (maybe even with a box over them to keep in the heat) but never over about blood-hot. In the summer there's little need. I find steeping pretty subtle past the first day, but that part can be significant.

RDA Higher Ohms, Higher Volts, Higher Watts = More Battery?

Thicker wire = larger coil = lower resistance Longer wire (more wraps etc.) = larger coil = HIGHER resistance You can't just go by the ohms. By "larger" I mean more surface area, can handle more power. It's possible the first build was too much for your tastes, atty, airflow, settings. So the...

    Aspire K1 very airy draw

The Aspires do tend towards needing more voltage. I find EVODs (single coil) can be hard to find a basic battery that goes low enough. The K1 should be pretty good on the highest setting with a fully charged battery, but to deliver that voltage consistently takes a battery that can boost. I...

    Smallest ever RTA.

The Atomic is also a tiny RDA, almost as small as the Smok type but more versatile, dual coil even. The Nectar RDTA has one of the smallest chambers to a fault, the coil is right under the drip tip. Another tiny thing is to rebuild original Protank type coils, but not an RBA.
