Same here, Waho. Below zero last weekend with -30 wind chills and a several hour power outage. Today was 64 and rain. Tomorrow night is supposed to be 1/4" of freezing rain followed by 1-2 ft of snow by Saturday morning. I don't know who ticked Mother Nature off but I'm strongly considering...
Thanks Burnie. I ride fire and EMS in an all volunteer department in a small town. It runs in the family and my father passed having never had a son, so I took his spot. It has it's ups and downs but they are a dedicated bunch and you can't ask for better friends if you have trouble. I've seen...
I second the Old Ving fudge. I liked that one quite a bit but really can't get away with full sized portions at work. I have settled into Offroad mini mint for the most part, with the occasional Ettan or Skruf for variety. The DH is a Thunder frosted mini fan. We really don't experiment that...
I picked us up a couple of S&W range jackets with the concealed carry pockets from McGuire Army Navy at about half the price of most retailers. They're really nice jackets and can handle most of our handguns.
It's been bow/crossbow season for deer for over a month but I haven't had time to get...
I totally trust my chiro. I see him way more than any regular doc. He got rid of pneumonia once when the regular doc couldn't with 3 different antibiotics.

I just had a package from Snus Central sit in an "FDA paperwork loop" in Europe for 2 days before it crossed to the US. The explanation on their site isn't very clear. Do any of you boys know what they have to report to the FDA? It's never happened on a package from there before. Is it a first...
My father has a stone at the family plot, but he isn't there. He wanted to be scattered at his place, my place, and his father's farm. I know he's there everytime I step outside. My grandmother needed something tangible to visit so we got the plot and stone. Seemed like a waste of money and...
We have a large firepit in the side yard, a garden, and a small pasture. We run chainsaws and woodchippers and other gas powered equipment on a regular basis. And worst of all....we fly the colors on a tall pole right in front of the house and in the summer we fly both the Navy and the Corps...
We've had the magnet screens for a couple years. Sure beats opening the storm door every 5 minutes while the princess decides if she wants to be outside or inside. This year I upgraded to the single heavier panel on a heavy spring rod. Worth every penny.

We use our kitchen aid grinder for our deer. Works better than the old stand alone my grandmother gave me.
Hubby has a barrel smoker and an electric. I'm not sure which brand of wireless thermometer he uses. If I smoke meat, I do it over an open pit fire
