There has been legislation introduced every year to split NY for a long time. Never sees the light of day. If fracking causes eathquakes, let's put the wells in a north/south line just west of Albany and let the giant fracture split us off from the idiots. [emoji57]
Unfortunately, if NY scares...
I am SOOO ready for spring to come. I think we will have flooding and steep slope problems, but these sub zero temps and snow are dragging on for what seems like forever. All in favor.....
Hey roth, how do you feel about having a few more towns in PA? Looks like these folks no longer love NY. Lol

Wago, I agree. Winter can take a flying........leap.
We had 28 below zero wind chill Sunday night. We have been lucky and haven't lost power yet. We have to run cords from our portable generators for the fridge and such.
My stepson came home from the Navy today. He was nearly out of juice and the local B&M doesn't carry the one he likes. I looked up a clone recipe, pulled out my toolkit, and had a happy kid in less than half an hour. I can do this because of the advice in this thread. I WILL send a Corpsman to...
Northerner informed me today that they will be refunding me for the incorrect shipment. They never offered to send the right product. Last dime they will see from me, free shipping or not.
I should do my taxes tonight, but today has been depressing enough.
We ended that round with about 18" of snow. It's 5 degrees now.
We live in the country, so we just push the snow to the edges of the property. The intersections are getting interesting. The snowbanks from the plows are high enough to block the view from anything smaller than a truck or full...
We ended with about 18". Winds are supposed to pick up around 10pm. They're saying wind chill will be between 15 and 20 below. Hunker down and stay warm and safe, Fran.
Got an email from northerner this morning asking for a photo of the wrong item and my invoice. Only took 4 and a half days. They said they have had a lot of email traffic. Gee, I wonder why? [emoji35]
Stay outta NY for a while, fellas. 13 degrees now, calling for 16 inches of snow between Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon. I am really looking forward to spring.
Or they just don't want the hassle.
Still no response from Norterner. I didn't expect any this soon, given how long others here have waited for an answered email.
