Ooo I wonder if it'll still take the Atlantis ni200 coils, in which case it already has TC capability
Dear god I can feel my lungs hurting just by reading that. I have an Arctic tank and jacked that sucker up to 100w and I can honestly say nooo way way to hot of a vape.
Anyways top...
Careful with the glass for the VCT pretty brittle. Managed to break both that came with it. First one was my bad as the tank fell when I first got it in and the replacement I managed to break from regular cleaning. Still a decent tank tho, have the Mega version but its unused for some time now.
I had the same issue well just with the online order of the tank, about the partial orders they have received. At first it was rather aggravating as I know these tanks are available to purchase from their B&M shops. But after 3 weeks by I finally have a shipment coming my way and that suits me...
Says no mention of the Nickel Purity on the FT listing, will it have it?
Damnit all I posted a link in the wrong thread, an old thread thats collecting dust.... anywho at least its available now.
Welp thar she blows!
$63.66 SXK Nebula Styled VW Variable Wattage APV Box Mod - 1*18650 / 1-60W / brass / w/ temperature control at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Looks like FT has picked up the SXK version of the V4s and those silly screws but here she is in all its glory!
I believe someone...
Looks decent but I've heard nothing about it besides the occasional review. However if I was in the market for a new tank. I would pick a Subtank or maybe the TCT. But I'm still waiting on my Silo Beast to ship out. Ordered a segatank RBA head for it and some grade 1 Ti wire. Now for the damn...
I wouldn't mind trying that one, but however I was completely underwhelmed by the GCT. Or at least the GCT coils were garbage imo. Oh also there is the Subverter as seen on Focalecig as well @DanJiblets .
Just be careful if you've never done something like this before. Price is still kinda high to have a screw up which means an 80 dollar board is down the drain. Not saying don't try! I will try my hand at it later on this year or hopefully then things get a bit cheaper. That way my pocket book...
Glad your enjoying it! Its actually normal for premade coils to jump ever so slightly from the heating and cooling from vaping on it. Although we learn that our ohms should stay solid from coiling ni200 for best performance. So nothing to worry about as its normal behavior!
Have a bit of a curiosity. In my quest to find a stateside company that sells Grade 1 Ti wire. I came across some ribboned ni200 wire as seen on stealhvapes and I think one other. Nothing in the states sells something like this. So my question is has anyone used it? And/or thoughts?
Its about time! Ah just messing
Received my Mutation X V4 yesterday so for today its
rDNA40 w/ Mutation X V4 by Shigura posted Jun 9, 2015 at 3:46 PM
Funny enough didn't know they had them until you said something. Not terribly hard to fit in but was a hassle for sure even lost one already lol. Either way having both bottom airflows doesn't bug me in the slightest. Though managed to fit one in and if it pops out when I refill then I just say...
Yes most likely, not very much real estate for coils. Although I don't dual coil any of my atomizers as I dont prefer it on my dna40 devices.
But I will try a dual coil build on the J chip mod once it comes in. Well on the Mutation I mean.
Eh I know but the Magma serves its purpose greatly when I want that extra flavor in my puff and its going to be in my rotation as a flavor taster for sure. Always have a heart for that guy but not ideal for dual or for clouds that is for certain.
I have a custom sx350J 60w hopefully coming to me by the end of this month. Looking forward to throwing on an extra coil on this thing, or the V2 for that matter. But as is still enjoying it pretty well as I love bottom airflow from this and the Magma.
Looking pretty good as I just received this yesterday Mutation X V4 on top of my rDNA40 with a 14 wrap 26g ni200 coil.

26g 14 wraps .16ohm by Shigura posted Jun 9, 2015 at 3:46 PM
I keep both of the holes open for airflow on my Magma, with just a regular 3mm 8 wraps 28g coil comes to about .16 ohms. Vaping with it has been great but honestly I'm not terribly fond of grub screws when it comes to working with Ni200 wire. Running it @430f @30-35 watts and it works perfectly...
