Adding to this, I would agree the washer being unnecessary. But however they tweaked their insides abit plus adding that solder point made it much more stable then the version before it. It read my attys identically to my rDNA40 despite being the small screen chip.
Then everything should be fine for you. That was a picture I took of mine and someone pointed out the problem child they were discussing. But I can tell you I've had absolutely no issues with mine and still intact.
For some time I was on the fence about it but only for its price tag of $40 but as of today I decided to purchase it. Although its on pre-order from them til the 29th of this month so I'll have to wait til then. I mainly purchased this tank over the others simply because of its design to take...
@TheBloke is correct there should be little difference between the two other then whose company name is on the mod. The Geeco's surfaced first before what you see on FT so I dare say its the same chip.
From what your saying its becoming more like a real bonified dna 40. Granted its 50w now and they made the clone into their chip. But once again, its looking to become a perfect mimic to the dna 40 that they initially cloned in the first place, great stuff!
Of course! Unfortunately my HB40 is all I have left right now and she's a workin just fine! Any who let us know if the issue is still there in TC mode and if you post it in the thread I put out for you should get more visibility of the case, vape on :vapor:
Most definitely as I have never purchased the VF clones at all, almost did but backed out and bought this ....ty VS clone back in April. Apparently this week isn't my week for my TC mods as now my 2nd one has gone wonkdified. To be clear tho its that stupid VS rDNA40 clone I bought instead of...
Hmmm I wasn't aware small screen dna 40s had atty lock but that aside. It's normal for the ohm reader to jump around as the atomizer is being fired in kanthal mode it's just what it does as it heats up in the posts. Comparing to the Sig 150 and HB40, the Sigelei rounds up the numbers when it...
I would also add I enjoy my Hcigar HB dna 40. But with its price tag despite being a cheaper dna 40 will push others away. Now that there are several TC mods easily half the price and more wattage (means little to me). Currently awaiting my new Mini VF in the mail while sending my VS in for repair.
Just throwing this out here, have you taken a look at the Geeco Zero Modz style TC? Believe its an SKX chip they have of their own, and some video reviews of it like "Mike Vapes"
Well I meant that towards my guesstimation of this not being higher then $60. Plus its on preorder so its bound to continue drop a lil more, but good find!
Absolutely, there should be no reason why it should ask that everytime unless of course switching attys around. Unless trying to force a new reading, and my dna 40s didn't do it all willy nilly.
I'm just glad that the one I purchased still has a warranty despite being scratch & dent refurb. Up until my battery drain issue it worked perfectly and only had cosmetic damage ontop which an atty easily hides. Which leads me to believe that this problem doesn't feel like its due to the chip...
