Little to no vapor with SS 316L
Try cutting down the preheat to around 40-50w or so (what I use). I've been using SS316L exclusively for the past few weeks using the CSV from Steam Engine. Not a single complaint thus far. Also, did you try to use the baseline TCR .00092 first and adjust from there? -

Just make sure you clean it when your going to coil. I use the same SS from Unkamen Supply and it was a great deal for 200 ft ($5 at the time). -

As of a week or so ago I'm pretty much dead set on SS316L being my go-to wire. Having used Ni, Ti, and SS430 I tend to lean more towards a malleable wire. Although I still have a soft spot for Ni200 but this completely over takes it. Pretty much will just use SS as my TC from here on out... -

Maybe not so much spending $100 for all the attachments. But maybe, at least in my case, the dual 18650 and just buying batteries for that would be considerably cheaper. Never plan on using any wattage above 100w anyways! -

Quite correct, I've been using the SS430 and SS Crown Coils on an IPV4S. Thanks to the Ti mode and scaling back the temp roughly a 100°F it was able to use them. Like the days of DNA40s and Ti wire. Just that of course it's inaccurate and unable to use temperature protection in any way. But it... -

Something I wish Sigelei would wrap their heads around. Kinda sad that most of the manufacturers have jumped on this with the latest one being Joyetech of course. Since they are set on only hardcoded presets with Ni and now Ti. Should be time to allow upgradability or another mode for TCR. -
