I'm not the best person to ask. I've not got into premium UK liquids other than Grant's Vanilla Custard. (He makes about one batch a month and it sells out in a few hours. It comes up on Google, but the next batch will be at the end of September.)

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Not to mention a mobile phone mast and a handy bell that rings when there's trouble. You're talking to a 53 year-old Briton here. I grew up with the doctor, although I spent a good deal of the early years behind the sofa. I was merely pointing out that the Erl packs in so much liquid that it...

With 3ml capacity even in nano-mode, I'd say the Erli was a good match for the TARGIS. Time And Relative... erm... Geometries In Space. Is that right?

There's a current discussion on this over here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/600343-where-buy-europe.html The question was about European sellers, but most of the suggestions have been for UK ones. There are minor concerns about some flavourings which are safe when...

    Need recommendation on charger

If you use 18490s, the XTAR Hummingbird is a very nice backup charger. I've got one at work for when I need to charge there. It's only 250mA/500mA and it doesn't do 18650s, but it's a solid bit of kit and very, very tiny.

    Where to buy in Europe?

Zamplebox is still good value imported into the UK, although it is expensive. It is a good way to sample some random USA premium liquids.

    1. If you have two batteries: a. You can vape on one battery while the other is charging. b. If one battery goes bad, you can still vape. That would be unlikely, but it takes a day or two to get replacements. 2. It is possible to burn out an atomiser if you give it too much power/voltage. You...

    4.8v 18650 or 18500 kicked?

18500s (often called 18490, which is 1mm shorter) are pretty rare in the safer chemistry versions. The AW IMR 18490 is 1100mAh. The other problem with the kick is that it will take a bit of fiddling, since the dial is not calibrated even in watts. It will give you the power you need, but you...

New to Vaping, Have a Question

The best and most reliable wall-warts are branded smart-phone chargers: HTC or Samsung for example. Apple does do some strange stuff in their chargers, but I don't believe it will affect an e-cig charger. It is fairly careful that it only gives excess power to an Apple device that is expecting...

Advice please.. not sure if I'm being fair or not!

There's another solution that they might be happy with. Say you are happy to keep the coils if they charge you for their list price less, say, 20%, and no P&P. (And then send the right ones.) That way neither of you have the hassle of sending them back, and you get some cheap coils for the...

Advice please.. not sure if I'm being fair or not!

Look into the Consumer Contracts Regulations (taken over from the Distance Selling Regulations since June.) All you are required to do is to have them available at the address they sent them to. The rules act to negate the transaction, with the seller paying the cost. If you are required to...

DNA30, .5 Ohm, all the way up to 30 watts, Ohm meter flashing, but still fires?

P = V^2 / R 3.7^2 / 0.5 = 27.38W So, at least up to 27.5W, a DNA will not be able to regulate. If it is actually measuring the resistance with more accuracy than it can display, it might be as low as 0.45 ohms and still display it as 0.5 ohms. 3.7^2 / 0.45 = 30.42W So in that case, it...

Hi! what e cig should i start out with?

Just to expand a couple of things dragonpuff said. USB wall-warts are all standard voltage and the chargers only take 420mA. So long as you buy it from a good source, there isn't anything to go wrong with them. Go with anything you buy from a large chain-store or a smart-phone brand. (HTC...

    What are my options?

The eVic manual says it takes 3 hours to charge over USB, and that it must use a high power USB port (or a wall wart). When I charge my 18490s* for my S20, I use an external charger and it takes one or two hours, during which I can still wander around and vape. Added to which there are an...

    What are my options?

Make sure you get the Kayfun Lite+, not just the Kayfun. Don't get a clone -- as a beginner you won't know if the clone is bad or if you can't build coils. That's a bad place to be. Another possibility would be the Fogger V4. It's much cheaper than the Kayfun but dual-coil and rather more...

I'd like a definitive answer once and for all: do amps matter?

You said "In the end it seems no better than VV to me." VV really has no advantages in normal vaping. It is used because it was first. On the other hand, VA does have advantages, similar in scope to those of VW. I therefore re-worded your quote: "It seems no better than VW to me." In fact, I...

    second hand vape.

It isn't a study, but I think it contradicts your point.... To my mind, SHS is damaging. But it is not as damaging as is frequently thought. Andria is not the only parent I have seen on this forum saying that SHS aggravates childhood asthma. As to whether it causes cancer, I wouldn't expect...

I'd like a definitive answer once and for all: do amps matter?

It seems no better than VW to me. While VW is doubtless useful to be able to switch between a 1.8ohm Kanger head and a 2.2 ohm Kanger head, nobody would claim that a 5-turn 1 ohm coil would vape the same as a 10-turn 2 ohm coil at the same power. In that case the power used for one might be a...
