    second hand vape.

Fortunately, my office is small enough that that will not happen. I do have a risk assessment written and ready to be published if anyone asks. Until they ask, I'm not rocking the boat. Here's another good link: The Ultimate List of E-Cig Studies: Are E-Cigs Actually Safe? *Updated 2/16/14 »...

    Airplane

Last time I checked, it was only spare batteries that had to be in carry-on. Batteries in devices are allowed in checked baggage. OTOH, I wouldn't want a phone, mp3 player, tablet or camera in checked baggage for other reasons. And I'm not sure whether a mod or eGo device counts as a device with...

Leaking in the bottom after juice getting into middle

Scuba divers learn to regulate their breathing to control their buoyancy by having the right amount of air in their lungs. Vapers learn to regulate the strength of their draw to suit the capabilities of their wick and coil. It is possible to adjust the power and airflow to do it in the other...

    Lung Damage, Lowered Capacity

Reading that most charitably, I wonder how they know. There is no instrument that will see down into the aveoli. "An adult alveolus has an average diameter of 200 micrometres" (Wikipedia). Yes, there is increased resistance to respiration for a short time following vaping. This article...

    Dragon wicking

Contrary to what the videos would have you believe, wicking is the hardest part of rebuilding. You can tell instantly whether a coil looks good and has the right resistance, but not whether the wick has too much cotton or too little, is too loose or too tight, etc, etc.

Hopefully one of you take the time to help me ;-)

I would drill a hole either end and then either use a wheel very carefully to join them up, or drill more holes and use a needle-file. You may want to cut inside the lines with the wheel and finish off with the file, otherwise you'll probably have to cut from both sides. How far does the socket...

Just got a kick. Need help!

It would be very difficult to measure the voltage with a multimeter. Firstly, you couldn't trust what it said because even ones that purport to measure RMS voltage assume a sine wave (unless you pay a lot) and the kick produces a square wave. But more importantly it would be next to impossible...

    Liquid In Lungs?

No, but you might be singing like Geddy Lee. The ladies won't be a problem. ;-)

About 26 milliohms. I can believe that.

    Liquid In Lungs?

Have you considered buying those strong liquids in a higher nicotine strength and diluting with VG/PG? It could halve your vaping costs and give you more flavours to try.

    Liquid In Lungs?

As Dr Farsalinos has pointed out, you can't get lipoid pneumonia from vaping by definition since it is defined as caused by oil in the lungs. There is no oil in eliquid. Glycerine is not an oil and neither is PG There is an activity we don't talk about, which may be confused with vaping and...

Introduction and help on upgrading my pen style vape

I would add that the hard part of building coils is not building the coils, it's wicking them. If you watch a few Youtube videos you'll find building a coil dead easy. Wicking for an RDA is a bit different from an EVOD, but nothing to get scared about. Edit: Just checked. It's the IGO-S and...

Introduction and help on upgrading my pen style vape

There's nothing impossible, or even difficult, in using an RDA on a Spinner. You can't sub-ohm; you need to keep the resistance of the coil comfortably over an ohm. So you should aim for the same 1.5-2.5 ohm range that you are using with the EVODs, and probably the lower end of that range. You...

    eGo-C Twist battery won't keep a charge...

Wall chargers can be just as bad quality as cheap FT batteries, and just as scary. Far better to pay a little more for a branded phone charger.

What's your favorite RBA (rta or RDA)?

My Aqua leaks from the air-hole, the juice feed control seems to do nothing and I haven't filled it yet without getting liquid all over me. It is a clone though, so maybe that explains it. Otherwise I'm torn between the Fogger V4 and the R91. The R91 is probably a little better on taste, when...

    Lung Damage, Lowered Capacity

Here you go: The American Council of Science and Health -- "Nicotine and Health" Nicotine and Health See page 47. "Mild mouth and throat irritation and weak dry cough may occur after inhalation, but as in the Sicilian clinical trials described below, respiratory symptoms waned over time...

    Quartz as wick?

Too irregularly to be useful, IMO. Maybe a diamond wheel on a Dremmel? I think I'll keep my eye out for some 2mm points.

    vv vs. vw?

Good in theory. In practice it is rather less useful. In order to make a coil a different resistance, you need to use a different length of wire or a different thickness of wire. You will probably use a different size of wick and/or a different coil length. All of those will alter the vaping...

    So my dog got attacked...

NB: A park over here in the UK is not a "dog park" like I have seen in <wince>Dog Whisperer</wince>. It's a multi-use space, primarily for people; there's far fewer dogs and far more space between them. One expects that dogs have 100% supervision and control and if an owner lets their dog run...

    So my dog got attacked...

Urm... K702... It's not a vaping shop, it's a dog grooming shop. Dogs are on the premises all the time. Dogs at work are good for the dog and good for the work environment. But it has to be the right dog and the right environment. A docile dog, happy to spend all day curled up in the corner...
