    Stepping up from Ego Twists

I hate to say it ;) but the Provari is probably what you are looking for. I would have said the iTaste SVD, but it's being having problems recently with the fire button only lasting a couple of months. That's a shame because, with it telescoping, you would have the chance of finding out which...

    airports?

Just tanks. The pressure of the air pocket in the tank remains the same as at ground level, but the outside pressure drops. That forces liquid through the wick and out through the air holes and driptip. Plastic bottles will probably deform a little, but I'd had none of them break. If you are...

I just found this picture I have of a Protank II on a 450mAh battery It's not going to look quite that bad on an 1100mAh battery, and the newer eGos and the Spinner are a little wider anyway.

Mech vs Regulated device - same wattage

That might be down to the rattlesnake effect. Many VV mods use a fixed high voltage and then pulse it quickly to get the same effect as a lower voltage. The standard frequency to do that is 33Hz, which is fine for normal clearomisers in normal circumstances. The thermal mass of the coil and wick...

Mech vs Regulated device - same wattage

It's called parallel because the wires are not twisted but are lying parallel to each other. Electrically there is no difference between the two; both parallel wires and twisted wires are in parallel electrically. What you have is a quad coil with each pair of coils occupying the same space.

Whats a good beginners Mod and RBA setup

Mechanical mod: just a tube and a switch. Rather an advanced equipment, since you'll have to be careful not to run the battery too low and you'll need a separate ohm chcker. APV: it's got electronics in, it reads the ohms and it cuts out before the battery gets too low. It also protects you if...

Replacing the atomisers is normal and 10-20 days may even be a bit long. Some people on here recommend 3-5 days, although when I was using them I'd get a month out of them. It's all down to the liquid you are using and your sense of taste. I'd recommend the Protank II. It's 22mm so looks a bit...

Mech vs Regulated device - same wattage

The total wattage may be the same, but the watts per surface area will be very different. A thin wire has more surface area per unit volume, but of course the volume isn't the same either. Here's a handy spreadsheet I wrote to investigate...

    small mod

There are 18350 tubes available for the Sigelei 20W. A Vamo might be 5mm shorter than that. Otherwise I agree with the mech + Kick suggestion.

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Erl-konig-in Konig is German for king. You may remember Commander Konig in the Gerry Anderson live-action, UFO. -in is the female suffix. Erl- is rather harder to tie down. See: Der Erlkönig - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Taking the English translation offered there, we might hazard a...

HELP!! What Atomizer has No Wicks and All Metal and Glass??

It is possible to wind a coil that needs no wick, but it's a highly technical build and results in a very low resistance coil. It might be possible to make it higher resistance, although it would then be even harder to build. But it probably has to stay in a dripper; the whole point of a wick is...

Odd thread but, I'm a sucker for bottles!

Plastic dripper bottles. Everything else is a pain in the bum and/or wastes liquid. The Standard are pretty, but I've still got about half a mil of Cell Block Four that I can't get to, and drawing that gloop up a blunt needle hurt. Glass would be nice, but you can't squeeze it, and you can't...

    New to vape...

Don't be frightened of nicotine. It has few harmful effects, may even be as safe as caffeine and may not even be especially addictive by itself, outside of a cigarette. If you can quit without using nicotine, great, if not, don't worry about it.

    New to vape...

That looks more like a list of flavourings than an assay of cigarette smoke, jensy. Where did you get it from? (The fact remains that cigarette smoke has around 4,000 chemicals, a large number of which are known to cause cancer and other morbidities. Whereas e-cigarette vapour has a mere...

    The Real Victim

Nope. I don't see it either. Sure there are people around with fixed views and a glint of zealotry in their eyes. The Provarinati seem to have calmed down in recent months, now it's more likely to be Reo or other drippers and mechs that are pushed. But that is just over exuberance, not hate...

    The Erlkönigin : PICTORIAL

Not to worry; I did the same to a USA company recently. They theoretically shipped internationally, but didn't. When I was in the US on business I took the chance and placed an order. They couldn't accept a credit card with a non-US address and they couldn't ring my mobile because their phone...
