    Sub ohm toxin study

For pity's sake, rawr. Have you read the thread? Several of us have spent hours of our own time carefully debunking this myth and here you go declaiming the original, and horribly flawed, ANTZ claim together with an unbroken URL. If you didn't have 386 posts under your belt, I'd call troll.

    The Russian 91%

It does need time to wick, especially with thicker liquid. Try adding water until you don't have to wait for the air bubble to move. I find it suffers less from chain vaping than the Protank II does, but a primer puff now and then cures it.

    My God!!!

The KFL is just that much more efficient. It vapourises more liquid at a time than an EVOD or Aeortank.

Summer is starting...leaking problem how to solve it?

The only atomisers that would be immune to leakages caused by liquid expansion in heat would be cartomisers and drippers. Even so the thinning effect might cause leakage. @patkin, I once worked on a job with a 60C curing oven. The fitter was working in there one day, bent over for a few...

    My God!!!

I sometimes like a bit of a nic-buzz, and it is very easy to get on a Kayfun-type atomiser with 18mg. Maybe not two hits, but four definitely.

    Sub ohm toxin study

If it is the study I think it is, they used a cartomiser at two voltages -- low and high and if I remember correctly they also used smoking-machine methodology, which doesn't work for e-cigs. They only found the nasties at high voltage. Try vaping a cartomiser at 4.8V and see if you like the...

    The Russian 91%

My R91% leaked a little around the fill screw, until I put a tiny O-ring on it and now there's no more leaks. On my last two tankfuls I found it had a problem with high-VG liquids, but a dash of water solved that too. It's still my favourite tank, but the new Fogger v4 might give it a run for...

Health risks of e-cigarettes emerge - ScienceNews

Which is why I carefully used the former phrase. As DrMA says, they appear to count liquid particles and then appear to quote solid particle limits. I'm no expert on the matter, although I have written device drivers for particulate counters in the automotive field for which I need some degree...

    Are Ecigs socially acceptable?

I could argue that, but we're not allowed to. So instead I'll talk about Thalidomide Thalidomide is a drug with a known side-effect that is easily avoided, but it will be many decades before it is socially acceptable. Unlike e-cigs there was a very good reason for its fall from grace, but its...

Just got home and filled the dripper. Unfortunately all the RBAs are full. But Mmmm. Nice Vape. Not sorry I was forced to get 30ml.

Particle does not mean molocule, in either interpretation. Particle is generally assumed to be solid, like the particles in cigarette smoke. The vast majority of particles in vapour are liquid and have known and safe composition. One of Glantz's papers** says this: That is at odds with the...

Mine too. This might be VG Heavy, but it seems to be reasonably diluted with water if the behaviour of the air bubble is anything to go by. Which is a good thing because my Russian is currently having serious problems with (The Standard) Cell Block Four, which is very thick. It's being a real PitA.

But it isn't 24 hours. It's maybe 300 puffs of 4 seconds per day, or 20 minutes per day. That's 1/72 of a day. So I'm exposed to about the EPA's exposure limit, and the "particles" are at least almost entirely safe for inhalation. Whereas the EPA's limit is based on solid particles that may not...

what do you wish you did not do in beginning your vaping journey

I bought my second Protank II, just as I got my first RBA and never looked back. And of course, I should have started sooner.

    Are Ecigs socially acceptable?

I think we're more laid back here in the UK. An eGo kit seems to gather no comments, and my 22mm kit just the occasional "What of Earth's that?" I don't think anyone has got at all confrontational about it. I do stealth vape if I'm in places smoking wouldn't be acceptable.

    Trying to switch.

Vaping with nicotine is almost certainly just as safe as vaping without it. Absolutely all the studies aren't in yet, but it is starting to look like nicotine is about as dangerous as caffeine. The most dangerous aspects at the moment appear to be the effects of heating the base liquid and the...

    Battery Storage Question

It's safe so long as they don't rattle. Remember, the "rules" are that if there are any scrapes to the "skin" then you have to throw them away. I might take that rule with a careful pinch of salt, myself, but that is what the manufacturers say. For that reason I wouldn't carry them around like...
