CONTEST: Best Joke Wins an iTaste 134 Mini APV! - The Vapor Station

That reminds me... The husband comes home, convinced that his wife is having an affair and determined to catch the pair in the act. However, although his wife is indeed in an otherwise unlikely a state of undress, there is no sign of the man. Beside himself with rage, the husband storms from...

CONTEST: Best Joke Wins an iTaste 134 Mini APV! - The Vapor Station

A man and a woman find themselves in a late night drinking establishment, both with faces as long as the bar. After the third drink they get talking and find they have both just been divorced by their spouses. "She said I was a pervert," he says "What a coincidence," she says, "My husband says...

New To Vaping. Already having technical Issues!!!

I don't recognise that. I was very happy with my Spinner. I once left it on charge for two weeks and it was fine. Then I PIFed it to a colleague and he's still using it. It's now over a year old. Certainly the second Spinner was not fit for purpose and you deserve a refund/replacement. I...

    How much do you spend?

Since Christmas, probably less than £50. And I've still got to build that box for my DNA-40 so I've even got something for my shinytis to look forward to. DIY does keep the cost down.

    Noob question...

I started with one of these: E-Cigarette Michigan | Products | A Clean Cigarette - The Electronic Cigarette Store - A Clean Cigarette Product It was sufficient to give up cigarettes, but only barely. I knew I had found what I needed when I got a Protank II with a C-Twist. Although I then moved...

Frustrated. Ohms Law/Rebuilding. Dummies/Basics, Backwards, this is not the way I learn ;(

I am also of the age when only girls learned typing. As a software engineer, it is a skill that I've lamented every day since. By the time I realised I needed it I was so fast with hunt-and-peck that I couldn't learn to touch-type. Five years after I left school the era of the shorthand/typist...

New To Vaping. Already having technical Issues!!!

No User Serviceable Parts Inside. Is it actually firing? If you put the Protank on it, does it vape? I think you said it didn't. In which case it isn't stuck on. My guess would be that it booted up insane due to the battery voltage drooping when you tried to fire it when it was only marginally...

Frustrated. Ohms Law/Rebuilding. Dummies/Basics, Backwards, this is not the way I learn ;(

A few months, but then I haven't really built that many. I found the hard part was getting the wick right and that changes from atomiser to atomiser. For a long time I stuck to separated coils wound over silica because I couldn't be bothered to empty out the tank and change the wick every time...

Frustrated. Ohms Law/Rebuilding. Dummies/Basics, Backwards, this is not the way I learn ;(

You know, I wouldn't worry about all these numbers, or even ohms law, for the moment. Try building some coils. Build them and test them. If they come out between 0.8 and 2.0 ohms, try wicking and vaping them. Start with a low power and work up. Learn how they work. Sometimes they will be good...

    Dry burning coil

    | rinse before dry-burning. That way I can do it in the office without a burning smell. Before you dry-burn most of the stuff is going to be water-soluble. Afterwards it is probably not going to be. If you want to get rid of the ash then a stiff artist's paint brush and a pipe-cleaner are...

First real B&M scam I've ever seen.

Good for them. I couldn't do that. I hope it makes them happy. However it seems to me that a store that limits itself to such people is not going to have many customers. Maybe that's why they have to charge so much.

First real B&M scam I've ever seen.

My favourite example of mark-up was Tandy (Radio Shack) in the '80s selling RAM. 4114 chips (256x4bit static RAM) were £0.80 each in mail-order magazine adverts. (No such thing as online then.) A decent B&M would sell them for £2-3, and that's where I bought them. Tandy were selling them for...

First real B&M scam I've ever seen.

I've just done a bit of searching. 1150 sq ft in a city centre mall: £150,000 per year (about $200,000). Business rates (tax) £62,000 per year ($100,000). And you'll be paying maybe four salaries at £10,000-£20,000 each, and salaries are half of the expenses associated with employing someone...

First real B&M scam I've ever seen.

It's the same for everything. Shops with lots of chrome, polished wood and open space that are located in prime locations and staffed by slick sales drones will charge too much. They have to to cover sky-high taxes, rents and salaries. They are the Apple and PC World of vaping. Not the best...

    Some movement from PayPal

You are correct. There is no update yet for the USA. However, since this update was produced to cope with the split between PayPal and eBay, there eventually must be one for the USA. I would be very surprised if they didn't have the same (or very similar) wording. The new contract doesn't go...

    Some movement from PayPal

I've just received a notice that Paypal is changing its terms and conditions, and buried deep inside the changes I found this. Let's hope that this doesn't involve you telling them and them freezing your account while they sit on your application for months. But it seems like they might at...

    first timer help

I'm pretty much of a newbie too. I gave up on using syringes. These are what I use now (click to go to Amazon): The little one can measure to an accuracy of about 0.2ml (Remember to measure the position of the bottom of the meniscus, not the top.) It is difficult to get the various components...
